I came to Shoyu Sushi to reconnect with some friends visiting from overseas, but unfortunately, the experience was interrupted by poor service. After being seated, we informed our server, Temme, that we’d like to split the bill. Rather than acknowledging the request politely, she responded with clear irritation, saying she would only split it three ways and made it obvious she wasn’t pleased. Throughout our meal, no one checked in on us, which was disappointing. When I finally managed to flag Temme down to order a roll to go, she abruptly told a coworker to “get this for her because I have to call my kid.” The interaction felt rude and unprofessional. We were genuinely looking forward to enjoying good sushi and catching up, but the poor service completely overshadowed the experience. I won’t be returning and will be taking my business elsewhere.

Just tried this place for the first time and hands down the best sushi we’ve had. Animal and the staff were amazing and took care of us so well. The animal and firestone roll were delicious!! Definitely will be coming back here because the menu is endless!

Their fresh wasabi is a must to have with your sashimi! Highly recommend the white Tuna since its so fresh and delicious. I've been here a few times and their customer service is always good. The sushi chefs are friendly and very attentive.
