I went to socal tamal,& tamal churro company on pacheco.today...
I'll tell you this place has great food!

Props to the cooks!
I say this because without these wonderful cooks this place would be nothing because the girl at the window in the drivethru today was extremely unkind and rude.
To the point where I almost want to stop going there
.it was pretty dramatic.
From the time I made the order until I left she managed to wreck my great mood.
I couldn't get there name because she had no name tag.

All I know is she had alot of lipstick on with a tattoo on her neck.
It bothers me because I told her Thank-you and sorry several times even though she was acting hateful.
I still told her to have a nice day

Of course, she never once said Thank-you, sorry or have a nice day.
You know, this isn't the first time i had an unpleasant experience at this place

As it has happened several times otherwise I wouldn't have left this post.
It's really bad for there business that these hard working cooks have to have there food served by unpleasant women.
There is another girl that works the window sometimes that seems a little younger that is so sweet.
There was also another lady there today with .
AN Accent that was very sweet as well.
I wish she could have helped Me.

You.know, I recently lost my son and I am trying to keep my spirits up.
I don't get how people can.be so rude for no
Damn reason.
You never know what people are going through when you treat them so badly.

I went today to get my normal 3 taco rice and bean lunch special and my first bite i got two small rocks and really hurt my teeth. I couldn't believe it!

I don’t know what happened to this place. It was really good about 6 months ago. Tonight I ordered the asada nachos, asada Torta, and 4 bean tostadas. Everything was soooo salty, we could not even eat it. The tostadas were red from what I presume was seasoning salt. A complete waste of $45 dollars. Super disappointed. Will not be ordering or eating at this establishment again.

This is usually one of our favorite places to go. Today was subpar the usual. I ordered two of the puerco tamale with eggs breakfast. My egg had egg shells in it and the dish was missing the usual green sauce. It definitely makes a difference in the taste. This unfortunately ruined the breakfast for me and I won’t be finishing it. When the service is great and the food is made with love, it’s one of the best you can get for your money. Lately it hasn’t been as good as it was. I don’t know what changed but it’s not the same. Maybe we should try the new location instead next time.

First time here and I’m really impressed. I’ve been checking out their instagram and they always make the food look intriguing. My husband has been a fan without ever tasting the food and he’s been wanting to meet the star of the show on IG lol. The customer service was top tier. The food excellent. The proportion is more than enough to fill you up and the prices are budget friendly. I read the one star reviews some people were putting and honestly I don’t understand why. So cal takes pride in their hispanic roots and they provide quality stuff for their customers. They really placed a lot of effort and love on how the environment looks and how they serve their food.

As I was ordering my food, the worker was very rude and giving us an attitude, I wont be coming here again and wont recommend to others because of that. I told another worker about it and he was sorry, and another costumer agreed that she was yelling. Me and my friend are both younger too. (She was wearing a cross necklace and makeup, her hair was in a bun)

The best and most authentic Mexican food ever!!! I had first tried there Wednesday $1 pastor tacos special and OML they were THE BEST pastor tacos ever. I just tried there chicken tamales preparado with the tostada con cebolla and HOLY I've never had Mexican food taste this authentic and yet so good. I would definitely recommend this spot if you want good tasting authentic Mexican food. 🤤

Carne asada street tacos were very good. Birria tacos were good.

I’m from Houston was looking for good Mexican food in Bakersfield this place did not disappoint, ordered Harris tacos, chicken tamales, and hot Cheetos street corn everything was good, they were quick and staff were nice

Nice atmosphere and friendly service. Amazing price for the quality of food. Definetely coming back and sharing with my people.
