Walked in, and a guy says all our tables are full and proceeds to just stare at me. Since he obviously was not going to give any more information, I asked how long the wait might be, and he says it's going to be a while. Gave off a feeling of not wanting our business, so we went to old river grill where we were taken care of.

Since I recently moved to Kern County, I wanted to check out local eateries. The Social House was recommended by my friend's hairstylist.We drove to the Social House and luckily there was handicapped parking close otherwise my disabled friend would have walked a bit.Anyway, the restaurant is nicely sized with tall and short tables. Our waitress was quite nice and very attentive.I had the Margherita Pizza and was very happy! The pie was awesome, with just the right amount of tomatoes, basil, and mozzarella cheese. The crust was thin with a drizzle of olive oil. Also, tried the stuffed mushrooms and they were very good. I don't recall what sandwich my friend had, but she loved it too.I highly recommend this place for lunch and will definitely go back.

Very good Sunday Brunch. Nice selection of items and taste is great. Mimosas are really great with orange juice and champagne in separate carafes to mix to taste.

Food okay. Service bad. Very loud inside. They charge for providing a small plate if you bring your own birthday cake! ($2 each plate- they even charged for the people who didn't eat cake!)We had paper plates with us too! They didn't inform us of this policy. Waiter disappeared for at least an hour. I guess the bartender was new- I had to send my foul tasting drink back.

This is my favorite place for brunch. We usually come in a big group after our gym sesh, and our waitress knows us so well, she's memorized most of our orders by now. The Morning Smash is my personal favorite. The Brunch Wrap is pretty much a staple with our group. There's nothing on the brunch menu that I have tried that I didn't like.

Great food, great service and love the old MTV music! Just sets a fun chill mood! My two favorites are the avocado toast and the grilled cheese with the tomato bisque.

One of our absolute favorite local spots to eat! We come here semi frequently and have never had a bad experience.The food is excellent! If you’re a tots lover(or not) get the loaded tots, they’re AMAZING!Service has always been great and friendly. Cleanliness is good. The drinks are excellent. The rotating dessert’s are great! Love that there is a patio option. I could go on and on.Keep up the good work, Social House!

I GOT A SERIOUS CASE OF FOOD POISONING!!! Please for the love of whatever god you believe in DO NOT eat here!!! I don’t know if the employees are washing their hands or what is going on but I got a serious case of food poisoning and spent DAYS sick… I wish I didn’t come here I’ve never felt so close to death….
