Let me start with the obvious: the food? Chef's kiss. As always, this place delivers on all classic Italian comfort-pasta that gives your soul a hug, sauce made by angels trained in Napels, and a cheesecake that made me want to finally forgive the ex that stole my car. Now... the service. Our waiter was, how do I put this... in dire need of adult supervision. He had the energy of a teenager who just woke up from a nap he didn't mean to take, put on his cleanest button up, and accidentally wandered into a restaurant instead of the classroom where he would have most definitely flunked that pop quiz. He forgot our drinks, acted like delivering bread was akin to winning a raffle, and kept vanishing like a magician throughout the meal. Honestly, I started to wonder if we hallucinated him. But here is the thing, the food is good enough I'll still go back, I just plan to order my food to go. If you're in it for the carbs (and let's be real, you are), this place is worth the mild chaos. Just don't come starving because you'll need a sense of humor to tide you over between check ins.

Friends and I went to Sorella's last week and had one of the best meals ever! They seriously have the best minestrone soup in town. I wanted to keep it simple so I got spaghetti and meatballs and this meal was perfect. Our waitress was amazing. She was so down to earth and made us feel welcome and nothing was too much to ask for. For dessert we got the chocolate cake and it was devoured in 3 seconds. Thank you Sorellas for being THE BEST ITALIAN RESTUARANT IN BAKERSFIELD, CA!

Very slow service waiting for pick up order almost 40 minutes

Food taste very basic. Ordered Combo #2: chicken parmesan was good, but the alfredo sauce was disgusting (like from a jar) and while the marinara sauce was ok, the penne that went along with it were overcooked. The salad was drenched in dressing, sometimes enough is enough. It was ok for a pit stop but would not return.

This food was horrible.

Kenneth was extraordinary and the best server my family and I have ever had! He was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and went the extra mile on every single instance he could. He was so personable and came to our table to check on us. My partner did not like his dish and he handled it very professionally and did not make us feel bad about it at all. Great employee on their part really! All the rest of the food and atmosphere was wonderful and we will be back again!
