“Who woulda thunk that a Reuben sandwich with eggs could taste amazing! The chowder was fresh tasting and soda fountain was regulated correctly!“

“I have been coming to this location for many years, and have always received pretty decent service, but the last time we visited, they were extremely busy, and regardless of how busy they were, we received some of the most impeccable service I've ever seen at a restaurant!
I feel bad that I can't remember our server's name, but we made sure to talk to a Manager on our way out.
He was quick on his feet, checked in on us frequently, went out of his way to make sure that the birthday we were celebrating didn't go unnoticed, and had an infectiously cheerful vibe.
I seriously can't imagine a single thing he could have done differently that would have enhanced the experience any further!
If all servers took lessons from him, I would probably go broke pretty quickly!
Needless to say, I'll be looking for him next time we visit.

“Walk in to tradional decor. Menu on shelf as you enter. But wait to be seated. Went during lunch happy hour nd Angel was just that. An angel that served a packed house. Served chips and salsa. And got our drinks. He recommended the wet burrito for me. My mother has the enchilada. Both were very delicious. Would recommend to friends and family.“

“Hands-down the best price for not only the quantity, quality & quickness of their food and service but their hospitality is amazingly awesome. To think we drove out to Bakersfield to celebrate my son's 21st birthday and every restaurant we went to said they had no tables available. So, we looked online and called uptrend Rice Bowl who to our surprise did have an available table. All I can say is, Thank God they did, because if it weren't for that we would've never discovered this great place!!! Would HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend this place to ANYONE & EVERYONE!!!“

Place is always super clean , wonderful music and they make the best sandwiches! I highly recommend West Coast sourdough on stockdale hwy.“

“I had the Garlic Pesto Turkey, toasted with their house sauce and avocado. It was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had anywhere. Their bread is wonderful. Only thing that could improve is their ambiance. There was no music, so it was awkwardly quiet.“
