“Hands-down the best price for not only the quantity, quality & quickness of their food and service but their hospitality is amazingly awesome. To think we drove out to Bakersfield to celebrate my son's 21st birthday and every restaurant we went to said they had no tables available. So, we looked online and called uptrend Rice Bowl who to our surprise did have an available table. All I can say is, Thank God they did, because if it weren't for that we would've never discovered this great place!!! Would HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend this place to ANYONE & EVERYONE!!!“

“The atmosphere was great, and our server was absolutely terrific—prompt, attentive, and genuinely helpful. My wife and I ordered the chicken Alfredo with soup and salad, and everything was delicious. We had a wonderful time, especially chatting with our server. “I've been wanting to try this place for awhile now. We went on a Wednesday around 7pm. They weren't busy and the place looked so clean. I loved the country music playing. The young lady at the register was kind and helpful with the menu since it was our first time. Our food came out quickly as well. The first thing I noticed were the sandwhiches looked picture ready. The bread was toasted and delicious. With my sandwhich the American cheese reminded me of off brand singles so next time I won't be getting American cheese. But my sandwhich was delicious! I saved my salad for lunch the next day, I had to use my house ranch since they only give you a little container of dressing. I had a bite of my husband's roast beef, it was good. My husband did not care for the clam chowder, it did have a strong aroma. We just won't get the clam chowder again. I would love to return and try something different. Everything looked so good!“

“Unless we went into another restaurant by mistake. It's not called Golden cabin.
It's called CASA MARIACHI.
As soon as you enter, the place felt welcoming with the tables set up celebrating Mother's Day with a Ballon on each table.
For starters the chips and salsa are homemade and the flavor was AMAZINGLY delicious.
My wife ordered green CHILAQUILES that she enjoyed very much with two over easy eggs, refried beans and rice (I kinda helped her with the rice because I like rice alot). I ordered beef birrria. It had plenty of meat and the plate was big enough that I couldn't finish it.
Anytime we are back in the area of Bakersfield we'll come back and try something else.“
