A friend took me here a few years ago I had an enjoyable and memorable experience but now apl yr 25, this visit was extremely disappointing the Mexican breakfast burrito was dry and tasteless the red ranchero sauce that was dumped on top was a mistake in its totality. The young waitress that served us saw that I only ate a half a bite didn't even ask how was my meal this meal should have been complimentary what a disappointment, I would like a refund and I'll never come to this restaurant nor recommended. That one loud chatterbox talking disturbing waitress with the weird voice, doesn't need to tell the whole restaurant her personal business.

Spencers never fails. The service is great. The food is amazing and the prices have remained reasonable over the years. They are by far the very best place to get breakfast in Bakersfield.

Ate 1/2 of my breakfast here today. This is the second (2nd) occurrence. I got up to use the men's facility & when I returned my table was cleared off and my meal was discarded. Worse of it is that the staff acted like it was my fault. I was told "next time, leave your phone on the table." Yeah right, I'm going to leave a $1,000 phone alone and unattended. Then I was told to tell someone, "It's a small place, someone seen me go into bathroom. Then, I was still made to pay full price. Accident's happen, but twice is ridiculous. Simple apology would have been nice, instead of trying to tell me that it was my fault. This place lacks "Class." Ridiculously poor customer service.
