I came here during a road trip with my family. Julie was an excellent server who was attentive, friendly, and helpful. The food was all very good - I had the berry French toast (which was the perfect amount of sweet). My husband had the Santa Fe Stack and our daughter had the kids pancake with eggs (the price was right too!) The serving sizes were great for all of us

Update 8/24. Won’t EVER be back. What a mess I experienced today. I have never been treated so rudely by staff anyone locally in kern and these waitresses rush you! The only familiar faces I saw from last weekends visit was a cook. But this place really rubbed me the wrong way. Service was slow and took forever just for coffee and waters. once the waitress did finally get back to us she complained that it was busy and there’s new staff and told us to just be patient. I didn’t feel comfortable after that but was already there and waited. this place is way too small to be that disorganized. Everyone running round like chickens with their heads cut off. Taking back my 5 star review and will be going back to my favorite place in town, 24th street cafe!
I dined here for the first time on Sunday and boy oh boy was I impressed. This place is sort of hidden but in okay with that because there was no line and the service was so delightful I can’t wait to come back. Miss Kayla took amazing care of me. She was spot on with helping me decide on what to eat. Can’t wait to come back to see her and eat at my new favorite breakfast spot!

Good amount of breakfast and lunch options. Food is pricey but portions are good and the food itself is also pretty good. I would say the main detractors was that they were blasting Morgan Wallen/bro country..it just seemed like the wrong location and clientele for that kind of music and it was a little loud

I came in here for the first time on saturday. My server was kayla and she made sure i was well taken care of. I was new to the menu of course but she made sure i was comfortable in what i chose and made the atmosphere uplifting! I’m excited to come back and will request her!

First timing coming here and the food is delicious. The service does suck especially if your another race. Didn’t ask if we needed anything she came towards the end it’s like she was avoiding us. Didn’t ask if we wanted a high chair either. The waitress was skipping our table and giving services to the other tables behind us.

Me and my family have been going here for quite some time every Sunday. Every time we go, customer service is awful. They tend to get orders wrong or mixed up or completely forget about the table. Food was average.

I would have rated 5 stars but customer service ruined it. Food was great and scenery was awesome but not even 2 hours before closing my waiter was always trying to kick us out. She was asking if needed boxes and my plate wasn’t even halfway done. She kept coming to our table and would try to offer us boxes , they turned off the music, locked the door and even turned off the ac, made it so awkward. Even when I left I smiled and said bye and my waiter didn’t even look at me and said bye with a rude tone. I’m sure she wanted to close and go home but she was brushing me off 2 hours before closing and was rude. I’ve been to many establishments near closing and none treated me this way. I will not return to eat inside but will order to go.
Felt like a small town local modern cafe (which I liked). The Chile Verde stack was very tasty and had a nice kick to it. The Country Stack my wife had was good as well. The food came out fast but it wasn’t busy so don’t quote me lol. Definitely a good spot for brunch.

We enjoy dining at non-commercialized spots when traveling through the state. This trip brought us to Stacks Cafe. Plenty of great breakfast options. I went with a classic French toast plate which was awesome. Couple folks had the skillet plates and said they were good but not great. Give it a shot as the pancakes looked amazing.
