The girl was not friendly at all. We said thank you and she ignored us and turn around.the drink was not good at all. The matcha was not well blended or mixed!
I placed a mobile order, and unfortunately, this isn’t the first time I’ve had an issue at this location. I wasn’t dressed appropriately to go inside, so I sent my 14-year-old son to pick it up. He waited a few minutes, which is understandable for the coffee, but even after two different employees asked for the name on the order, he still stood there for almost five minutes with the drink—waiting on two cake pops.
He eventually texted me, and I went in myself. When I asked about the remaining items, they were just sitting on the back counter.
There used to be a very friendly manager at this location, but I haven’t seen her in a while, and unfortunately, the service has gone downhill since. The staff rarely greets you anymore, unlike other Starbucks locations. This particular store is right next door to my house, which makes it even more disappointing. The team just seems disengaged and a bit rude lately. Then they rudely said have a good day after knowing I was upset k stead of apologizing
Let me tell you, this Starbucks is one of the best I’ve ever been to. The workers are incredibly kind and hardworking, always maintaining a positive attitude that I truly appreciate. The manager is particularly kind and sweet. One time, I asked for a pup cup of a drink I wanted to try, and they surprisingly gave me a small one. I was thrilled and grateful for their thoughtfulness. The staff is consistently kind and hardworking, and they always make the best strawberry acai lemonade refresher. It’s simply the best!

I love this place. I love it when this particular barista, Ale, calls me queen on my cup when he sees me. It truly makes me feel good and special and he has amazing customer service skills. I haven't seen him this week, and I hope he's still there so I can thank him for being patient with me when I am ordering, because I have a speech impediment, and thank him for his customer Service. I hope to see him again if he's still at this location at Starbucks, and hopefully he's doing well. He knows my order when I go there and treats me right. I miss seeing him there and hoping to see him soon. Keep up the good work.
Always consistent and super friendly. Never had a bad drink or experience from this location and the customer service is always outstanding when I go during my morning commute. They're my favorite location in Bakersfield.
Worse black coffee ever, many coffee places are way better from my opinion.

If I could give zero stars, talk to the district manager, and get all my money back I would. But thus, here we are. I have tried countless times to give this place a redeeming chance and every time they fall miserably short. Not only have I gotten food poisoning from this location, but I have also received wrong orders, paid for what I did not ask for, and received laughable service.
• I have always gotten a caramel frapp with extra caramel, no whip. So tell me why I was charged mocha sauce one day when I clearly said extra caramel? (I even went back on my dashcam video of that day to make sure I wasn’t crazy. Yep. Said CARAMEL.) I flippantly thought Starbucks raised their prices. Well, when I went to a different location the next day, I was proved wrong. Unbelievable.
• A few days ago I had gotten my usual with banana nut bread on my way to a different city. Tell me why I was in the bathroom an hour into my trip, thus making it a 3 hour drive compared to 1.5 hours…Yup. Let that sink in how long they put me out of commission.
• I have gotten interrupted mid-sentence in my order to ask if “that was it” while I am telling them what else I’d like. I have gotten windows slammed in my face before I could ask for straws or napkins. Not to mention the wait alone to even have the window open for you to be greeted is long enough. I was asked to repeat my order today, for example, and they still got it wrong when I first approached the window, and they still didn’t listen after the fact and so I had to send my drink back in. Four times you couldn’t listen?
I unfortunately wish I would have left a review for every bad experience here because maybe it would ensure some change. Instead I gave this location the benefit of the very reasonable doubt, but this is just ridiculous now. I don’t know what could fix it, but at this point a complete staff clean out and corporate training for new hires needs to be considered.

Wow I didn't know ice cost so much. Venti iced white mocha mostly ice . Too bad I ordered venti HOT white chocolate mocha. You should check the volume or check your server. Too bad in America it's the money and not the quality. Just customer service. Won't be coming here anymore.
