I came in here 11AM on a Friday after a couple days of car camping in the Kern River Campground. I asked for a cup of ice to drink while I wait for my phone to charge. The lady was rude to me saying I cannot get any ice without buying something. When I asked someone who did pay for something to help me ask for the ice, then it became you can’t sit here or get any ice or water without paying for something or being with someone who did pay for something. I explained to her I have been camping for 2 days I don’t have any money to give her, I just need a cup of ice and to charge my phone then I’ll be gone. She adamantly and rudely refused me. Then a white man came in and asked to use the bathroom and a cup of water and he was guided to the bathroom and given a cup of water when he came out. The manger is the shorter lady with a top bun and gray skunk stripe. I understand policy, but if i found a way to abide by your policy and you just state a different one, you never wanted to serve me. But serving someone else just because he is a man and white is insane. Especially when I’m literally watching the interaction.
Go next door the Me-n-Ed’s they were so nice gave me a water cup and i just got ice from the dispenser and I even ended up finding a $5 Bill and bought a drink there too.

Starbucks should do better..during my cycling ride i stopped and get a medium tea...within 2 gulps the drink was done because they filled all the cup with ice.. Starbucks you can do better

Take a nap before and then order then take another nap! This place is slow, the main one downtown gets more business than this one and with 6 workers still stood and waited in line for 30 minutes!!! They are slow find out for yourself as you fall asleep waiting for 1 drink!!!
Stopped at Starbucks on the corner of 178 & Commanche, on the Eastside.❤️ Mariah was my barista & she was fabulous. Strawberry lemonade. So good.
Parking: Easy parking right in front of the store. Beautiful Palo Verde trees ? provide some shade.
