This Starbucks is by far my favorite location in town! The store is always spotless, including the restrooms, and I’ve never had a single issue with my orders, even during the busy lunch rush. The staff here really make the experience great. Fabby and Giselle are always friendly, upbeat, and provide excellent service every time I visit. Their positive attitude keeps me coming back. This will definitely stay my preferred Starbucks location!

I went there yesterday to meet up with some friends. I went to order something and no one was at the register. There was a guy and girl taking orders for the drive-thru, another girl was just walking around the front and back. All 3 employees saw me and continued to do their thing, no one ever said “We will be right with you” or “What can I get you” .. The staff looks very uptight and not welcoming. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me. I won’t be back to this location.

I’m writing to formally express my concern and disappointment regarding the repeated poor customer service I’ve experienced at your store located at 2633 Hosking Ave, Bakersfield, CA.

Every time I visit this location, the experience is consistently frustrating. The staff is often rude, and basic conveniences such as making change for a $20 bill are frequently unavailable. Additionally, the store seems to have ongoing technical issues with their debit/credit system. On multiple visits, I’ve been told they are unable to accept card payments due to system errors.

This morning was the final straw. After waiting in line for approximately 15 minutes, I was informed at the window that the card system was down and they were only accepting cash. I had cash ready, but when I attempted to pay with an $20 bill, I was told they could not provide change due to just having been robbed. While I understand that incidents like this are beyond anyone’s control, the lack of professionalism and empathy I received in response was unacceptable.

When I addressed my concerns with the store manager, Sammy, she laughed at my frustration. I asked her for the contact information for corporate, and she casually told me to “look it up online.” This dismissive and unprofessional behavior only added to my dissatisfaction.

As a loyal Starbucks customer for many years, I find this pattern of behavior extremely disappointing. I expect better customer service, empathy, and professionalism—especially from a manager. I no longer feel comfortable visiting this location and will be taking my business elsewhere.

I hope this feedback is taken seriously and addressed appropriately. No customer should feel dismissed or disrespected, especially after making Starbucks a regular part of their routine for years.
