I love the German chocolate cake at Sweet Surrender. However, the price is outrageous and the slices are smaller compared to the other cakes. I think that the cake slices should be consistent and filling for the price.
I like sweets but I have a bite or two and I am done. Except for this place I can eat a whole slice of cake or a whole cupcake and it’s perfect. Not overly sweet and not bitter. I have brought numerous friends from out of state or even different towns and they agree it’s the best dessert they ever had. I grew up getting cakes and cupcakes from here. From milestone celebrations to bringing them to the fire station so my dad could celebrate his birthday at work. I would recommend...
