Tried Tacos El Karni and it definitely did NOT disappoint! The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out fast. The tacos were packed with meat, the tortillas were on point, and everything tasted homemade. We also tried the birria and it was sooo good — rich, juicy, and full of flavor.
The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the vibe inside was chill and comfortable. Portions were solid for the price too, which is always a win. You can tell they care about their food and their customers.
If you’re looking for legit Mexican food with great flavor and awesome service, this spot is worth checking out. We’ll definitely be back!

I absolutely LOVE this restaurant! I can tell you that, having been raised in Oxnard and Ventura, I have eaten a lot of really good Mexican food. The food here is EXCELLENT! The staff is always friendly and helpful, the restaurant is clean, and again, the food is excellent! Their salsas have great flavor and the carnitas?? So, so soooo good! Their asada, pastor, and the chicken (on Fridays and Saturdays) are equally flavorful. They never skimp on the portions ( the burritos are ginormous)! Do yourself a favor and try Tacos El Karni, it's mui, mui bueno!!🖤💜🖤🌮🍗🌯🥙

I am so in love with tacos Al pastor. Not small street tacos , so if you’re hungry for great tacos go to El Karin . I can eat 6-7 street tacos but there I get filled on 3 .

It’s extremely hot at the tables no type of ac and fans don’t help. I rushed to eat my food since I was sweating but overall the food is great.
