I have to share my very disappointing experience that happened! I had a very long day out with my son shopping and wanted to stop in and get some food from this establishment I’ve had it before it was good I wanted to eat here again. When I came into the restaurant to sit I seen a tablet right by the door with an outlet right next to it & i thought it was perfect since my phone was dying anyway and I needed it to pay for the food via Apple Pay and also to order a Lyft home. The waitress than informed me that we weren’t allowed to use the outlet to charge my phone . Which is very odd because the outlet is right next to the table and im a paying customer. She said it was the owners policy which made it more disappointing. We are ALL human and we all know things happen! your phone will die. Happens to the best of us. These phone had ZERO empathy for me or my child being out with a dead phone stranded! let me remind you it’s an outlet ok? Nothing to serious! A simple outlet that’s right underneath my table. Them letting my phone get a charge wouldn’t have cost them anything at all even if they would’ve had enough compassion to let me get a small charge! It just saddens me that they rather leave a mother and child stranded with no empathy the waitress did nothing to try and help me. She watched me leave with my kid she didn’t even try to ask for me she didn’t try at All she watched me leave with a phone on 1%. We support this establish our support and hard earned money keeps the lights on and the fact I couldn’t get a simple phone charge was BAFFLING. If you don’t care about your customers why spend my money here? they have NO empathy for there customers or simple human compassion So do with this with you want if you eat here come with a FULL CHARGE! these people will not care.

This place has the best rice and beans in all of Bakersfield friendly service fast service I get in and get out great food great service needs more parking though but other than that that's a great place the best place in Bakersfield I think Love the rice and beans and I don't even like rice and beans but I love theirs Great job guys and lady's
Parking: It's really hard to find a parking spot in front of the place or on the side of it he has parked down the street a lot of the times kind of sucks but great food worth it

Customer service is always great here. Very polite and friendly. I've tried a few different menu items but I highly recommend the torta's. The bread is grilled to perfection, the asada is tender and juicy. Only downside you need napkins... quite a few napkins. Sorry for no picture I was hungry and it was good

Yes please has the best refried beans and Spanish rice I've ever had I don't even like Spanish rice really but I love theirs every time I drive by I have to stop and get rice and beans to go because they are so good they taste homemade. You have got to go by there and try the rice and beans they're tacos are bomb too.

Like most restaurants in Bakersfield I have visited, this place needs some TLC. It looks a little unkept, with lots of colorful crap everywhere, they play music and it's okay, but a little too loud. The food is good. It's not equal to the best I had, but it's better than the nines at the Marriott a few blocks away. I had fajitas in both places. The tortillas were mediocre, the condiments fresh, the rice pretty good, the beans average, the main dish very good. I expect to keep coming, but hope they clean it up a little to improve the experience.
