8/10 did the job, I was craving for some Mexican food since I was in the area , I would like to point out I’m from San Diego and very close to the border with Tijuana so maybe my taco standards are very high but other than that I like them , if they could change the tortilla to a different brand or something I’m pretty sure they’ll be much better, but what really made this a very pleasant experience was how nice the people working there were , really makes you feel welcome.
Amazing! Everything was so tasty - can highly recommend the birrias tacos - they were out of this world.

This is the place I've used as a comparison of what real, authentic carnitas and birria tacos should be. The carnitas tacos rivel some of the best I've tasted in Michoacán, Mexico. I don't recommend trying other meats, although they're good too, the carnitas (mixtas/surtidas) and birria de chivo are the best I've tasted anywhere in the U.S. It's a no frills lunch truck in a somewhat rough neighborhood of Bakersfield, but it's well worth it....
