I happened to come across this gem by pure accident. Their taco special sign was beckoning my business and I could not resist. I approached the window and was treated kindly by a lovely Spanish speaking woman. I attempted my mediocre Spanish and she had studied the menu and was patient with me as I tend to ask ALOT of questions.. but she never flustered or made me feel unwelcome, she smiled and looked over to the man behind the cooktop.. the owner, the cook, the kindest man, and I would have paid twice the amount just for his customer service. Just being in their presence made my mood improve, serving up happiness as well as tacos!!! As he patiently and thoroughly described the eats… I found myself almost drooling. I played it safe and cheap. $1.50-1.75 a taco!! A steal!! I ordered three pastor, three asada and I always order a small side of rice and beans. I was told , “You can tell a lot by the rice and beans”, by the owner of my lifelong (from age six, until they closed) regular Mexican restaurant. So, it’s become a habit. Plus I got two canned beverages and our total was not over $15. For two adults, rarely can you get anything under $20. Let me say the price was not indicative of every valuable bite of my lunch. Hands down best asada tacos I’ve had in a long while. Fresh, full, overflowing actually. Salsa was fantastic… I’m sad I had to share even the one with my husband. The pastor also superb quality, but I had the asada first and it has now held every other thing to a higher standard. Rice was perfection, but we could not stop talkings bout how great the beans were, they were made with love, and skill. If you haven’t found your favorite taco truck, then you haven’t driven on the Eastside on Brundage between Mt. Vernon and Oswell… Tacos Miguelitos has something for everyone, you’ll come for the food, and you’ll come back for the food and the hospitality! I truly mean it when I say they serve up happiness and a mean taco!!
This may have just became my favorite taco spot!! Met with smiles at the window, I had questions beyond my Spanish capabilities and the lovely woman’s english, yet the cook/owner/ man behind the counter was so descriptive and patient. Tuesday had tacos for a Buck!! So I ordered some carne asada and el pastor. I also needed to try the rice and beans, they tell a lot about a business. We added two canned Pepsis and for under $15 fed both of us well. The asada tacos were perfection!! Melt in your mouth perfection, the produce was fresh, the salsa was dynamite, and I could have put down a dozen. El Pastor was delicious only dimmed by the excellence of the asada. Then the tell all… the rice and beans l… they were done by a perfectionist taught by a grandmother, or Abuela in this case. Whole pinto “pot” beans were seasoned to perfection and the rice was what I’ve been searching for since my favorite restaurant closed a few years back. If you haven’t tried this truck, Do It! After hearing the love coming from the cook as he described what things were, I’m coming back, going back, may never leave. There’s so much more I need to experience. I’ll keep you posted. Good no no, I take that back, excellent food!! Great prices! Lovely customer service!! Don’t miss out!!
The best shrimp tacos hands down!! I usually have them every week. So full of flavor. Other meats are great as well.

Love the tacos. Burritos are bomb too.
So first thing is first. The food is freaking amazing. I usually go to a restaurant or any establishment to eat and rarely hang out after I am done but something about this place that after I ate I just sat around with my wife and relaxed. Once again the cook is good at what he does. The food was delicious. I will definitely be coming back on a regular basis. The way he humbly greets and treats his customers is rare to receive.
I should have waited and took a pic of this before digging in. Haha Can’t get enough of this place. I also had some shrimp tacos before eating the torta! They were also extremely good. The chef was very kind as well. I can recommend this restaurant for good food and good service
Food is DELICIOUS! Owners are super friendly!
