I've visited Teaspoon approximately four times, and each visit has been exceptional! There are numerous reasons why it's my top choice for matcha and boba in town. Firstly, every staff member I've encountered, around 3-4 different individuals, has gone above and beyond in providing excellent customer service. In an age where genuine kindness is hard to come by, Teaspoon stands out. Secondly, their matcha iced tea is unbeatable; it strikes the perfect balance of flavor without being overly sweet. Today, when my son fell asleep on the way to pick up our order, I called ahead, and they kindly accommodated my request to bring it outside. Despite feeling a bit intrusive, the staff member reassured me and handled the situation with utmost kindness. The variety of boba tea flavors has made each visit exciting for my children. I appreciate the option to customize sweetness levels. Overall, Teaspoon offers a fantastic experience with great drinks!

It's a very quaint little Boba shop. Very nice on the inside. The Boba is SO delicious, & they've got a variety of menu items, as well as a menu to build your own Boba drink. I've been a few times, & most of the time, the service is welcoming & cheery, but one time I went in & the guy behind the counter didn't greet us as we came in & indicated without speaking that he wanted us to use the self ordering tablet at the counter, & never even said a word until he called out our names for the drinks. It was off-putting, so I'm glad that wasn't my first time there, & previously had good, friendly service.Vegetarian options: They have non-dairy bases available for substitution; no meat itemsDietary restrictions: They have non-dairy bases available for substitution, they label which drinks are caffinated & which ones are not.

The cashier Baylee M who helped me was very knowledgeable about the most popular drinks and asked an array of questions without it being overwhelming, she did the best she could to make sure i got exactly what i wanted and that i left happy. I watched her make my drink and i was sure it was fresh and the boba was absolutely delicious, i will be coming back and also recommend for others.

Cute little place that serves boba, teas, coffee and some baked goods. The girl working was very friendly and welcomed everyone that walked in. We ordered a Classic Thai tea and it was delicious!! Service was quick too!!They have lots of drinks so it's hard to choose. We'll have to come back to try everything. It all looks good!

I was craving some Thai Tea, this place did not disappoint! Not quite as sweet as some, so if you are just looking for a flavorful refreshing drink.... I'd give this place a try!!

I got the Thai iced tea with boba. It was very ok. The boba was good, the size of the cup was alright, but it tasted just bland, not very creamy, or sweet, more on the watery side. I ordered easy ice to prevent this but it didn’t help. I overall was a bit unhappy w the experience, I went to a Thai restaurant next door and got Thai tea and it was way better.

I tried the Black Sugar Assam, Classic Thai Tea, and Honeycomb Banana Milk from left to right. The honeycomb banana milk was a new experience and quite tasty, though I didn't spot any honeycomb crumbles as advertised. I'd suggest sampling all the drinks and exploring your options. I'll definitely return when I'm in town. The excellent customer service and the clean, inviting atmosphere added to the overall positive experience.

Boba 4/5 stars (boba a little hard but taro chunks and tea very good). I'm assuming the owner (older Asian lady) was the one who was catering to other guests (greeting, small talk, talking about the menu, options etc) and totally gave me the side eye! I did and said nothing but ??♀️ guess it's bc I'm Asian too? The teenagers making the drinks were kind and courteous - obviously didn't learn it from the owner LOL! I'll stick to my Bay Area Teaspoon locations instead. When I'm in Bakersfield I'll visit Boba Tea Bar - better menu and service.

There was two workers and the waiter was so happy to recommend us any drinks and help us out with things we needed. The Thai tea was absolutely amazing, one was made with regular milk and the other with whole milk. My taro drink was good but I wish I would've tried something else, the chunks at bottom were not my favorite and gave it like a sand taste, but although it wasn't my personal favorite it might be yours!!! Happy drinking

Good boba place! Very great and quick service! I walked in at around 8pm and it was empty but also very peaceful. I ordered the Mango Funtime and tasted delicious!! Very fruity and sweet and REFRESHING which was much needed since today was about 110 degrees. Highly recommend!

Was on my way up to Northern California and as usual had a craving for Boba. I was super happy to see a Teaspoon location in Bakersfield! This specific location was huge with a ton of seating. I ordered online and the order of 8 drinks was ready just on time. Teaspoon if you haven't been before has a lot of unique milk teas as well as fruit tea specialty drinks. Some of my friends even opted for a seasonal drink that included Red Bull (they wouldn't get it again they said though haha). I had the guava sunset and it was super good. You could actually taste guava flavor and the pineapple marmalade is the perfect level of sweetness. Not too overpowering. Pro tip this Teaspoon has a Chik fil a, in n out, and chipotle all within 100 yards. Use that information however you like haha!
