The employees were magnificent. Nothing wrong there. However the food was so salty. We got the birria tacos combos 3 birria tacos each and our drink and they tasted like they were dipped into the ocean with how salty they were. I myself didn’t even finish because I bit into pieces that felt hard like they were bone and one piece eventually pierced the roof of my mouth. My husband bit into bone as well but thankfully he didn’t hurt himself. Awful experience with the food so unfortunately we will not be coming here again. It’s crazy because the food from the food trucks are sooooo goooodddd but this place makes the food terrible. We were in high hopes cause of the food trucks good quality ):.

honestly i did try the sushi once my sibling had gotten me it and it was pretty good i was excited to come and order for myself for the first time but as soon as i walked in it was a terrible stench it looked nice n clean but when u payed attention there were roaches crawling around in the back and some around the seating area. i had walked out and didn’t wanna bother, take what u will with that

I have been here so many times, but the service n food are really taking a dump. I ordered a steak teriyaki bowl, and the steak is hard and chewy. Really hope they go back to what they were before. It's sad to say because this place has been around forever n I have always loved it, but lately it's been disappointing.

Grew up in Bakersfield and this place has been here for like.....at least 30 years. A restaurant doesn't stay open that long unless they have some amazing food, which Teriyaki Bowl does, the Teriyaki Chicken and Teriyaki Beef bowl is to die for, I no longer live in Bakersfield but when I do occasionally come home I make it a point to patronize this establishment.

Food poisoning the next day very bad :( Negative zero stars :( California roll had rotten avocado and too much imitation crab chicken bowl rotten vegetables smelled like throw up . The girl was friendly and inviting but the food is just so bad sadly even the rice was just mushy no flavor of sticky rice. Better of buying frozen Chinese food from Walmart respectfully. :(
