Ok breakfast for road trip

They've got good gluten free pancakes. Service is great! Say hi to Denise when you're in!! The last time I visited they ran out of the gf pancake batter. Denise came over, went over the menu, and helped me to find a safe-to-eat meal. She had the kitchen customize a plate and everything was wonderful. Thanks Denise!

The first time I came here I liked the food but not the service so this time around I went for delivery through DoorDash. The food was made and delivered by the promised time so the food was still warm. Unfortunately, the Nutella strawberry crepes was average and the muffin used for my eggs benedict was burned. The one star is for the delicious hash browns that were crispy and not at all soggy like most places. If the service is bad and the food is unpredictable, how do they expect to create loyal customers. Most likely won't come again. I've learned my lesson, especially after spending almost $40 on disappointment. Ordered on Friday 03/27 around 11:16AM

Whenever we make a pit stop here on our way to the desert, we love coming to the Broken Yolk! The staff are so sweet and welcoming. Food is yummy and great selection. It's like good quality IHOP or Denny's. Their gluten free pancakes are quite good. Check it out!

Staff were friendly but slow. My soup was barely lukewarm. My husbands dish was good. Some dishes our group ordered was large servings, some were smaller than expected. I liked the Buena Vista restaurant much better.

Clean, friendly, selections vary from typical American (waffles, eggs, muffins) to unique Mexican (sopes Benedict, chorizo scramble). We stumbled on this after filling the RV with fuel nearby. Easy parking across the street and easy on/off the freeway. Employees seem happy and that’s always a good thing!

Not the cleanest or fastest. Food would have been better if it hadn't sat in the warming area so long. They seemed short staffed for as busy as it was. I hope it was just a fluke and my experience isn't the norm.

Although the surrounding area may lack life, the broken yolk's structure, food presentation, quality of food, and taste will fill you up with life and delicious food. Service is great and no rush.

It was a full house when we arrived but we didn't wait long and we were seated in a timely manner. Host was friendly, and our waiter was nice but a little busy which we understand. Our food was bomb! Love this location better than the other location, we will be back again

We have been wanting to try this place for awhile but both locations are a bit out of our way. We were finally in a position to try it and were really excited but quickly disappointed. We came on a Saturday around 11AM and there were not many people in the restaurant. We were quickly seated and asked if we wanted anything to drink. The waiter brought us coffee within seconds which was nice but it was a little cold. We ordered a pick 2 eggs benedict: Golden State and the Caprese along with a trio of French Toast. We also ordered a mimosa flight which was on special for the month of February and I asked for a glass of ice water. The waiter put the order in while at our table and said it would be a couple of minutes. After about 10 minutes he came by to refill the coffee and I once again asked for ice water. He said ok and left the table. I never got my water. After another 10 minutes or so another server brought out the food and asked if we needed anything. I once again asked for the mimosa flight and my ice water. She said ok and then left. I never got either. We ate our food which was really good. There are no complaints regarding the food. Our first waiter came by asking if we needed anything. I asked for the 4th time for a glass of ice water. By this time I didn't even care about the mimosa flight I just wanted water. Finally he brought out my water and shortly after he brought the check. The flight was still on there. Only after we asked that it be removed from the bill did the waiter actually remember it. Unfortunately the wait staff did not appear to be wearing any name tags so we couldn't identify any staff in particular. We will not be returning to this location but look forward to hopefully better attentive waitstaff at the other location.

Food was good especially the home fries. Some of the best I've had! I agree with other reviews price is a bit high for what it was.. bill came out to $35 for what you see in the picture plus 1 coffee.

Just came from a disappointing brunch. About the food: Ordered the sweet trio combo and the chicken and waffle Benedict. Ordered at 2:10, meal was served at 2:45. Eggs were over cooked on the Benedict and the hashbrowns were tasteless. The chicken needed seasoning. The trio was cold only the cinapancake was warm. About the staff: Our waiter was polite. I asked why the TVs were turned off at 2:58, he informed me because they close at 3. He asked if everything was ok with our meal and if the food was cold (he obviously knew it was). Also witnessed the waitress buying two cigarettes from the older bartender right across from our table she gave him two dollars for them and then got them and put them on the receipt holder she was carrying #classy.
