Worst restaurant I’ve been too in Bakersfield. We were a party of 9 got there at 10:30. They initially sat us separate, when we asked to be seated together the server got upset for no reason. Mind you they took our ordered before we made this request. It was 12 and our food was still not out. This place is ridiculous. 0/10

We had a very disappointing experience. There were only four of us, yet it took over an hour to receive our food. What made it worse was watching other tables who arrived after us get served before we did.
When the food finally came out, the quality was very poor. The pancakes were burnt, the French toast was soggy and barely toasted, and the country breakfast tasted like it had been sitting out for a long time. The portion of country potatoes was extremely small — only about three actual potatoes, with more peppers and onions than anything else.
Overall, this was not worth the wait or the money. I would not recommend this place — don’t waste your time.

Live really close to the place always heard about this place from my co-workers & it was a complete let down i order 2 breakfast plates food was very bland eggs were over cooked hashbrowns were very uncooked my waitress never checked on me n my mother to ask if we needed refills no nothing completely ignored us & my bill came out to 32.15 i paid with card left a 5 dollar tip on the receipt & later when it updated to my card i was charged 47.12 they upped their tip i did not like that at all !

Food was not great. I ordered the roughneck breakfast. Apparently 1 uncooked bacon and a questionable sausage patty with overcooked pancakes is what you get. Took a few bites and was done. Waste of money. Will not return. And will not recommend. From pictures I saw in previous reviews I was looking forward to a good breakfast. Not. Even the basic breakfast option offered two bacons but only 1 1/2 was in my fiancé plate. How do you mess up toast and pancakes. Toast was not good. Slab of butter right smack in the middle. I guess spreading it to melt was too much work. This is my (bad) experience.

Came here for breakfast 1/19 we got our table quick we got our food fast ..food was good very delicious. BUT....... i was pretty upset i got up to use the restroom and my husband stayed at the table with the rest of the family. we were all done eating except my daughter she eats slow so its taking her a while to finish her food..well while i was standing in line to use the restroom i heard the guy that took our order lean in and tell the people that were waiting to be seated ... he said theres table that should be free in a couple minutes ..then he said they are done eating but they just wont leave they already paid they are just there sitting down they wont leave ... and im there listening like omg thats rude then he walked to our table and looked around again and came back and told the people .. i dont know what they are waiting for they are just sitting there i skipped using the restroom and told my family lets go. i wanted to say something but im just not that person to speak up. But it did bother me i wont be coming back ..

Tried this place for the first time while in town for a concert. The veggie options of the menu are clearly labeled but only now has 5 items listed. Previous menu showed eight. No longer has the vegan slam or the nachos. We ordered (all w/ vegan cheese):
Soy chilaquiles - 9/10. Super flavorful, huge serving with refried beans and country potatoes. On the spicier side. Was extremely filling, a little greasy but very satisfying. Would definitely order again.
Veggie burrito with fries - 8/10, faux sausage and bacon were very flavorful. The fries on the side was a good addition. Overall a special treat. Would order again.
Not chicken sandwich with fries - kiddo gives it a 9/10. Would order again.
Overall totally worth the visit, and affordable prices. We paid $68 after tip for three of us, including a tea and a hot chocolate for the kiddo.

Would never recommend this restaurant. We were there at 8 a.m. on Tuesday morning when it opened and no other patrons. It took 15 mins after we were seated for server to take our drink order of 2 coffees with half and half. She brought the coffee and it took another 10 mins before she brought the half and half, and of course our coffee cooled down too quickly. I could understand if the restaurant was busy but it was not. The server was more interested in chatting with other employees than serving us. When we got our food, she said I'll bring more coffee and guess what, another 10 min wait. Needless to say, I will not return nor will I recommend to anyone.
