Back Bar Matt is a curmudgeon, but don’t take the playfully insulting banter too seriously. Strong drinks at a fair price. Nice to see them switch up the usual (mostly repetitive) DJ line up for the live music.
I want to clear up the ID situations in the comments. Alcohol Beverage Control allows us to take a US state ID, a military ID, and a passport. All of these have to be valid and can’t be expired. We can not take any ID’s from any other country, except for a passport.
Always a great vibe and a variety of people. Never a bad time. There's free pool, good drinks, awesome bartenders, and it has a good LGBT community. Also super reasonable prices. The bathrooms are good for photos but please don't take 10s of minutes.... people gotta pee.
