Staff and management are very friendly. Drinks get the job done. The bouncers are on it and if there’s ever a bad experience they handle it. Will come here again. As a woman who comes here alone u feel very safe. Kris and Kristen are very welcoming as well as all the staff :) there’s not a better bar I town.

The bartender, Chris, and a group of locals made me feel welcome there. Was a great spot to just hang out and watch a game. I found the place while in town for business and made it my spot for a couple nights. Good drinks, good crowd, good fun.

I’ve been coming to this bar for a long time and have always been respectful to both the bartenders and the bouncers. I’ve never caused any issues, never been removed, and always tried to support this place. Unfortunately, that all changed with my most recent visit.
The bouncers here have always seemed to be on a bit of a power trip, often disrespecting people without cause—but I let it slide, until it happened to me. Instead of simply asking me to leave or speaking to me like a person, a bouncer came up behind me, grabbed both my shoulders, and shoved me out. There was absolutely no reason for it to be physical.
To make matters worse, I have a very big issue with being touched by people I don’t know. Being handled like that—without warning—was jarring and completely unacceptable.
What used to be one of my go-to spots is now a place I’ll never return to. I won’t be recommending it to anyone. No one should have to experience that kind of treatment.
Edit: Asking me to leave would have sufficed. Physically grabbing a non violent person from behind was unnecessary. I have a bruise on my arm from him grabbing me. The situation did not warrant that kind of force.

From the get go, the crew here at The Whiskey have been amazing! Kris, Reed, Kristina, and Kristen are an amazing asset to this place. They cater to their patrons, and make everyone feel noticed. Even when it gets busy, they are all on their game and take of business.
