Usually like this place for the food but me and my wife were sat down today and no one came and took our order for about 30-35 minutes so we left. To top it off it wasn't even busy hours and the server had the nerve to say sorry when we were walking out. Don't know if I'll be coming back here.

First time coming here many options. The server Francisco was amazing greeted us with great smile and water it's lemon usually have to ask at other places. Coffee was amazing my husband had the biscuits and gravy and the portion was huge he brought half home I had the avocado toast with spinach with fruit bowl and poached egg. Everything was very good. We beat the crowds we started seeing the place fill up fast. It's a small place but not noisy everything flowed smoothly. Will definitely return.

if i'm going to be honest the service isn't that great. i decided to try something different and got a nashville hot chicken sandwich and it wasn't that good. i tried telling a server i didn't like it but she never once came back to check in on my table once not even for refills. she only came back to give us the check, i honestly didn't want to tip but i had to because of the courtesy fee. i didn't have problems until today when my burrito was burnt. i asked a server if i could have it remade she seemed upset about it. usually it comes with strawberries and cut in half but this time it didn't. i asked about the strawberries and she said it was just for decoration and said "i guess i could put them on for you." when i got the remake i could tell the cooks weren't happy with me because they didn't cook my cheese all the way. i just wanted to leave at that point i was just really unhappy. when i came back inside to grab my purse the server even looked at me in disgust. i don't i'm coming back for a while

So for starters the service was not great and my friend's food (burrito)was burnt like not even edible, and when she said something our server she had a very rude nasty attitude about it like we were bothering her. Not to mention they had completely forgot her strawberries, it happens that's not a problem, but when she gets her food back it's like they half assed it back there the cheese wasn't even melted and still no strawberries. And on top of it all not once did she come back to check on us or even refill our drinks, let's hope for better from here maybe it was just a bad day.

We waited about 20ish minutes to get seated. However, when we got seated, it took about 30 minutes to get our food. There was a huge party before us so I'm guessing that's why they took a while for the food. They placed some good Spanish music, wasn't too loud, and seating was as organized as it can possibly be for how small this location is. I ordered the creme brûlée latte, iced. Give it about 3.5/5. Wish it was a little bit sweeter. My husband ordered a regular coffee. For food, I ordered the chilaquiles with red sauce and chorizo. This was sooooooo good and spicy. Not too hot, not too mild. My husband ordered the French toast, and no complaints there. I will be going back to try more food and possibly their mimosas that looked popular.

The food here is amazing staff are friendly and tend to you right away. Food wait was 15 min had the tri- tip Benedict and the goat… was huge! So if you come in with an appetite you will be satisfied ! Good place many thanks to you.

As soon as I walked in I should have walked right out. The whole place smells like grease/oil. Kitchen probably needs a deep clean. Food was bad. Hash browns tasted like cheap oil, which is probably the same oil smell you get as soon as you walk in the door. The pancakes tasted fake, probably from batter that is sold premade. Only good thing was the friendliness of our waiter. Definitely never returning.

Im so glad we decided to stop by and finally try Toasted after having this place bookmarked for a year. We came by for breakfast, and everything we tried was really well seasoned and cooked. I ordered the mount chilaquiles with green salsa, and a crème brulee latte. The chilaquiles comes with 2 eggs and beans, and if you want to add carne asada or other options it's extra. The portion was big, it kept me full for hours. The latte was delicious too. We also got an açaí bowl and OMG omelette, and everyone was happy with their choices. I especially love the themed drinks on their menu. They have a coffee flight which I love the idea and can't wait to try.

Food was good when it came. Waited a whole hour for our food for a table of 3. That was ridiculous. Food was tasty great flavor. The waitress i know it was not her fault she was super duper nice, friendly, and inviting. The cooks need to get the timely matter better. Just an honest review. No hate :) god bless.

Had some breakfast with the family here, wanted to give it a try. I got the country fried steak and eggs with potatoes. Ummm ? the food wasn’t that great. Food was bland with no flavor.
If consistency was a place it would be this restaurant by far !!! Been coming here for over a year once or twice a month and I’ve ordered the same thing every time because of just how good the chilaquiles are! It beats your authentic mexican restaurants and it’ll beat your moms too hahah. In all seriousness this restaurant deserves all the praise it gets, from the service to the atmosphere this restaurant is by far the best i’ve been to in Bakersfield it simply speaks for itself !!!

They have great festive drinks, and great friendly service. However, the food was mid tasting (looks better than what it tastes). It took us 1 hour to be seated, and then another hour to get our food.

Loved this spot! We got great service and food! I would definitely be back! My husband got the guacamole burger, I got the mamas chicken fried steak, and baby boy got the biscuits and gravy! My husband said his burger was delicious! And it was HUGE!! It actually looked like it could be in a burger ad, we were impressed. My chicken fried steak was delicious!! You got the chicken fried steak flavor, but the exterior tasted like fried chicken batter! It was really good! Probably one of the best ones I've had. Biscuits and gravy was okay. Their gravy is awesome! But the biscuit was just a little dry. I wouldn't ding them too much for it though. I got their special St Pattys day coffee (the one with the caramel and Irish cream). I didn't know how Irish cream tasted and my server didn't seem to either so I just got it. Then when they finally made it, the girl delivering it said it was her fav and it tasted just like the Shamrock shake! This would've been nice to know prior because I'm not fond of those, but here it was already so I didn't want to send it back X) BUT it was pretty good if that's your thing I'm just not a fan of mint. Then there was a male server walking around (not our server) that was so sweet and despite being super busy, stopped to say hi to our toddler that was waving and brought him some creamer to stack to keep busy :) Then later he came by after our toddler threw his utensils on the floor and got him some plastic utensils. Not only that, but our lady server was super attentive and checked in on us periodically (but not too much to be pestering). For a restaurant where all the workers were rushing around from being busy, they definitely didn't make you feel like they were too busy for you :) We will definitely be back to try new things! Everything was really great Hoping their new Allen location will be just as great as that one is a little closer to us, but we'd make the drive out for these guys for their service alone :)
