Moved in the area last September. I pass through Tom's almost every day. I hesitated to go get food because of the dirty, filthy surroundings. Today my disabled son wanted to try Tom's (we've been going to McDonald's across the street) so decided to try. The food was good, liked the fries not salty. I kept thinking if the food was cooked in a sanitary kitchen. Lost my appetite. May I suggest cleaning the surroundings? There's a tall pile of boxes and trash in the back. Bushes dirty/dusty n filled with trash. The walls cruddy. When was the last time you power washed? Not going back. Sorry.

Got a breakfast burrito drove all the way home so me & my son could enjoy a relaxing Saturday meal but when i bit into it was super crunchy upon examining it closer i saw that the hash browns were grey & completely raw! Horrified but not wanting to ruin breakfast for my son I removed all the raw potatoes which was half the ingredients & tried to enjoy our breakfast but it was disgusting, i drove all the way back there showed them the raw grey potatoes & they said there was NOTHING they could do about it because i ate some of it, they cut them in half & i ate half of one half just enough to realize it was inedible. Soo mad ruined our morning wasted my gas & time & paid $10 for a breakfast burrito I couldn't eat, ill never go there again

This place USED to have good food. We would go on the weekends for breakfast but today I was in the area so I stop and got my husband and I breakfast and a pancakes for my 3 year old and let me tell you, I could smell the bad smell from the sausage through the bag as I was driving home. My biscuits from the biscuits and gravy were rock hard like you couldn't even bite into them. Now the worst because how do you explain to a 3 year old why her pancakes were nasty, her pan were so freaking sour and bitter and had the worst face when she took a bite so I tried them and almost threw up. So nasty. I swear I still have a sour taste in my mouth even after a drink and brush my teeth. $30 down the drain. Never again!

Been in Bakersfield since 2008 and noticed this place the other day passing by. Glad me and the wife stopped in to have a couple of burger combos!!!! It's our official go to burger joint now!!!! Great staff also!!!

It was good. But for some reason it just does not taste the same as the location in oildale. Guess years of cooking adds that tweak to the grill?

The food is pretty good but the customer service is awful! 1 ranch for a large zucchini and a side salad? When I asked if ranch was in the bag she said yeah shut the window and walked away. I should have just gone to zorba's!

went to toms for dinner,. this place has the best burgers an has one great pastrami sandwich! i give them a 10!!

The burgers at this restaurant are great. They taste like your backyard grill. The eating area inside is a little small, but it's never too busy to sit down. I think some people overlook this place because as you pass by on Rosedale, you can blink and miss it. But the parking is easy and the food is excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful as well.

The rudest employee I've ever come across in 4 decades was working the drive thru. I ordered chicken strips and fries. Her response: "The 2 piece?" I said: "yes, but is there another option?" Her response: "do you want it or not?" Me: "is it just the 2 piece, or is there another option?" Her: "ranch or BBQ, SIR?!" Me: "WOW, you are really rude! I'm trying to ask you a question. Is there a 3 or 4 piece option?" Her: " No, there's just a 2 piece"Now I ask you, why would you ask someone, "The 2 piece?" When there's only one size? And then get mad, and rude when the customer thinks there's another size?
