I love the pupusas! My family and I enjoy everything that we have ordered here. We never had any problems! Everything is great and has great flavor! The HORCHATA is to die for! Again you won't regret it! The staff is always welcoming!

Smelled good as soon as we walked in so we knew that was a good sign. I got 2 flour flautas which were good! There was a hair in my sisters food. While the waitress was hesitant to trade the dish at first, she did eventually bring a replacement dish. $96 for 5 dishes.

Told "no dogs" with a service animal wearing a vest but, later, allowed to stay. Excellent price, fresh ingredients but, slow service and forgot items Ordered a vegetarian burrito with fajitas grilled vegetables. The burrito had lots of grilled veggies but, few beans, no cheese and, no sliced avocado $8. The waitress came back about 20 minutes later. The ice tea was freshly brewed and, large in a glass mug served with a large, slice of lemon for $3. I entered with my service animal wearing his vest and, told "no dogs". The waitress kept attending her table. I sat down. My service animal lied under the table in the booth. On one knew he was there. The waitress came and, I explained that he was a service animal. She served me. I left a card with information regarding the law and, service animals in public places. Something must have burned shortly before I entered, however, the restaurant was clean. There are terracotta tiles, wooden tables booths for privacy between tables. The restaurant was cool in s warm day.

Wonderful, diverse menu featuring delicious Salvadoran cuisine and lots of familiar Mexican dishes. They excel at mole, chili verde and pupusas! Great service, tons of drinks to choose from including alcohol, Jarritos, Agra fresas and more! And there's breakfast! I will come back to try it. Neat as a pin, clean, classy!! Lots of space appropriate for a party crowd.

Don't let the area scare you away! The little hole in the wall are always the best! My family and I have Sunday dinners. This last Sunday no one felt like cooking so I researched and found this place. The inside looks nice and clean. When we arrived there was just a to go order waiting. By the time we left there were 5-6 more tables. I don't believe they get busy because of the area. It's really sad, especially if you are from Bakersfield and have seen this area go from what use to look like the SW to what it looks like today. Besides my grandma use to live right around the corner. The food was great. And because I think they don't get busy they only had one waitress, and she was great!

Great East side spot. Nice updated warm decor. Owner is always welcoming and kind. Lovely selection of Mexican and Saldadorian dish's. Hubby enjoyed his volcano hot steak molcajete dish. My Tasty chicken enchiladas ranchera hit all the good notes. Crispy fresh chips and their delicious salsa. You feel like you are being served in someone's home. One of our go to spots in town.

My wife and I and another couple tried this restaurant for the first time and were definitely impressed. The service was very good, the food was excellent and the variety of dishes offered was surprisingly large for an establishment of this size. We will definitely return for a repeat of what we had and to try some of the many dishes on the menu that had to be passed.
Honestly I didn’t know this place existed kinda in a weird spot but, they’re very friend and service was great ? recommend you try it out even if it’s not to your taste. Great place to try something different.

The breakfast burritos are the best in town. My go to place when I need catering for events. I strongly suggest you give this restaurant a try.
