Quick personal service had lunch outside on patio very nice

Parking: Behind the restaurant 20 parking spaces plus handicap parking

Wheelchair accessibility: On the patio very nice outdoor settings with trees and flowers and music playing low volume is wheelchair accessible with about 10 tables but if you prefer inside you have to go around to the front door that's a flat entrance for the wheelchair access

This is a no star restaurant. It was my first time here and my last. The service and food here were horrible. The waitress was over worked, unfriendly and apparently does not listen well when she takes an order. I got the wrong plate and my eggs were not over medium but watery, my bacon was not crispy but rubbery and she never came back to check on us. I was over charged for the meal and could not get a price adjustment from the manager, so she said. I was so disgusted with the low quality food and customer service that we just left instead of causing a scene. With how expensive life and food is today, businesses should strive for excellent food quality and better serving waitresses. My teenagers could make better eggs and bacon than this establishment.

They don't use margarine! Food was fast and tasted great. Was here for breakfast but had lunch here in the past. I'll be back.

Dietary restrictions: Allergy to margarine.

Parking: Lot in the back and parking on the street in front.

To be honest, I didn't eat here. Yet! I've driven by several times, Googled it & decided to stop by just to look. It's so charming & I'm looking forward to actually having breakfast here soon!

Ordered cobb salad said no bacon and was there other meat as i didnt want any. She didnt know and brought w chicken which she took back and was returned with wilted salad from warm chicken. Should have been remade. I was treated by friend so didn't want to complain. Worst salad ever.

Love this place! The staff is friendly and attentive. Tons of Bakersfield nostalgia and the patio is really nice, at least when the weather allows.

We got the French toast and the strawberry waffle and both were very good. The hash brown was also very good super crispy on the outside. We sat on the patio outside and it was nice and shaded with lots of greenery around. Definetly a nice vibe. Our server also gave us a small sample of the peach cobbler which was really nice.

If no star was an option I would most definitely leave non.

I came in on 8/15/24 and ordered waffles eggs and a sausage patty!

Only thing I finished was my waffles.
- The eggs no seasoning took one bite and couldn’t eat anymore.
- The sausage patty took two bites and it was drenched in salt or whatever seasoning they use on them. I asked them if they could replace the patty for bacon (witch was a option) since it tasted disgusting and they referred me to the waitress and the waitress refused to switch it out with out charging me for the bacon. Why would I pay for them to fix my food all over again. Not to mention the waitress came from behind me and touched all my shoulder before declining to help with anything. Horrible customer service!! If your food is not edible the least thing you can do is fix it !
Under no circumstances should your waiters or waitress be touching on customers!!
Definitely won’t recommend or go back to this place.

I ordered a spinach salad. Clearly the spinach came in one of those "pre-washed" packages. The cook grabbed a handful, about 20% of which was going bad. Very disappointing. The blue cheese (I think it was blue cheese) was a bit stale. If you're looking for fresh vegetables, this is not the place to go.

Vegetarian options: Not fresh. I don't recommend this restaurant for vegetarians.

Village grill is the best place for brunch :) the food always tastes fresh and delicious plus staff is helpful and friendly. I recommended the TBLAT (BLT with avocado and turkey) and the Village Omelet. We’ve been coming here every Monday for almost a year, it’s one of the best restaurants in Bakersfield.

Had to eat inside this morning because it was a bit chilly outside. This place is always great.
