I’ve been in town for a year, and this bar is the highlight. My favourite bartender is Courtney. She is one if not the best bartender I’ve ever met. She makes fantastic drinks and is honest, loves her job, and genuinely cares about her customers. VIP lounge is one of the highlights of the town and Courtney’s service makes it just that much better. God bless yall. :)

Since I moved here, I see the bar is a very local community bar that thrives on great bartenders and atmosphere. The only change would be a great Cabernet and some Chardonnays. The most important is an espresso machine to make an amazing espresso martinis. Thank you for the amazing welcoming bartenders Shelina, Ryan. Lexi, Karen, Hedi, and Courtney.

Yk I went in because I felt the need to. But the people in there from the staff to the customers have to the kindest people you'll ever meet. They look out for you constantly and they dont judge what anyone is going through. I'll definitely be going again Great experience.

I was passing through Bakersfield late one night and thought I would have a beer at one of the local spots. I chose this place, which was a bad idea. First of all, it looks closed when you arrive. No lights, no music, no sound. I parked and was surprised to open the door and see about 15 people all sitting at the bar enjoying their beverages. I walked up to the bar and before I could order my one beer, the bartender says "I already did last call, no more drinks" ... it was 1:09 am. This bar, like most California bars, stays open until 2:00am, which means last call is typically 1:30-1:45, depending on several factors. I could understand if he said shots or beers only, or I can serve you ONE drink, or even the word SORRY. Nope, just flat out rude. I turned around and went to another place and got a drink at 1:20 and even a second drink at 1:30. I tipped that bartender $20, just like I intended to do at the first place. If you're a first time customer, avoid VIP Lounge, especially after 1am

U gotta love things that don't change, and that's the vip, it feels like the forever late 70's bowling alley lounge, but nobody seems to appreciate it that way, the bathroom functioning and still sketch, so good, so perfect in its own groove they have
