West Coast Sourdough - Bakersfield Gosford

This is my fourth or fifth time here and each time, their food and service have never disappointed. They use quality meats and bread and fresh ingredients. I recommend anyone who is looking for a quality sandwich to give them a try.

Everything here is SO good! We love the Gosford location specifically. A sandwich is not just a sandwich at this place and the Mac and cheese bread bowl is CRAZY good. Friendly staff, great atmosphere. Really love it here.

Food was great and costumer service was even better! I enjoyed the cranberry chicken sandwich very much! I will definitely be coming back here very soon!!!

I come here every Thursday on my day off! Love their daily soups they’re delicious 🩷 workers are very nice and the restaurant is always clean 🤗

Very bad service

I have to thank the people working at West Coast Sourdough on Gosford for excellent service and hospitality. It was 2 minutes before closing on Sunday night, I rushed in to get a last minute salad for dinner. I felt so bad for going in at closing but I was well taken care of and the salad was good as always! I prefer them over any of the other West Coasts in town! They are very friendly with great customer service, plus they typically know my orders when I come in... As I always order a salad or a French dip sandwich. Thank you very much!

Got there at 11:20am. Only 4 other people in the store. Ordered 2 sandwiches, chips, cup of tomato bisque and drinks. By noon, still no food!!! Starting to get busy and our order is still not ready!!! Finally cancelled our order after waiting g for al ost an hour!!!! Totally unbelievable. Just how long does it take to make 2 4” sandwiches? Wo t ever be going back

Accidentally ordered from Gosford instead of Calloway. They told me I needed to drive all the way out to Gosford to pick it up and would not transfer my order or provide refund. TERRIBLE customer service!!!!

Have been wanting to try this place after seeing them on Instagram so stopped to get a sandwich. Couldn’t decide on what to get so tried the turkey cranberry and also the pastrami. Also saw they had chicken poblano soup and got some too. So happy I stopped as all the sandwiches and the soup were delicious although my favorite was the turkey cranberry. Will definitely go back and try other sandwiches but can’t wait to get the turkey and cranberry again as well as more of the chicken poblano soup. Place was clean and staff was friendly. Will definitely come back

Casual, clean, friendly service. Kids loved the sandwich and drink choices. Lots of salad choices too. Gluten free is an option and per staff they clean everything, change gloves, etc. I am coming off an exposure so did not try but good to know it’s an option.

I had been meaning to try this place since it opened and I finally was able to eat there sandwiches. We ordered pick up for five. We ordered five sandwiches and a cup of chowder. It came out right about $60. When we picked up we were greeted immediately and somebody came right over to help. Very welcoming and very pleasant. The dining area was very simple and very nice. It was comfortable. Everything was spotless which is always a big plus. They just finished bagging my order so timing from the online ordering was spot on. Ok, I like bread and I really like sourdough. It was perfect. A crispy crust with a nice bread inside. It was perfect for the chowder and fantastic with the sandwiches. Every bite had the crisp snap to it but not a hard bite. Just a great sourdough. I had the cranberry turkey and it was DELICIOUS. The kids loved their ham and cheese and salami’s etc. I will definitely be going back.

Me and my mom came here for lunch and the sandwiches were amazing, everything was fresh, customer service was top tier didn’t have a long wait time. We will most definitely be coming back.

Really great spot , staff is always friendly. I always get the turkey and salami I’m always a happy camper with that. My only issue is it’s a little pricey . Inflation?
