I’ve always enjoyed the food at Woodstone Pizza — it’s consistently excellent, and that’s kept me coming back. However, the last two visits have left me feeling pretty unwelcome, and it’s making it hard to want to return.

The first time, my family and I were asked to move from our table so they could seat a larger party. It felt rushed and inconsiderate, especially since we were already settled in. Then, during our most recent visit, we were seated right in front of the TV, and while we were watching the Dodger game, the staff changed the channel without even asking. When I brought it up, all I got was a quick “sorry, we can put it on another TV” — not much consideration for our experience.

I still think the food is fantastic, but after being treated like an afterthought twice now, it’s hard to feel good about coming back

Mondays and Thursdays, they have a family special. Under 30$ feed the whole family. Pizza is thin and crunchy.

I moved to Bakersfield a year ago. Woodstone is our favorite pizza spot. Quality toppings and flavor. Excellent appetizers and friendly employees. When my daughter and son visit from Modesto, they eat here.

First of all Woodstone Pizzeria how dare you! Lol! I am seriously a hermit these days. I’m a stay at home mom that now cannot always be at home! I don’t drink beer but after one bite of the Chicken Kahuna Calzone I wanted one! I’m so angry because I totally lost my edge today, you made me so happy and one bite changed my Hamlet mood into bliss! I’m so angry because everyone is nice here and I might actually love people again. The crust was a work of art and while it was burning my fingers I wanted to cry. You made me love pizza again. You made me want to brave the parking lot and endure a clean moody in all the good ways restaurant and proceeded to do a better job of taking care of me than I do myself. I love you people and now I am miserable driving away that I didn’t try more.

Cool atmosphere. Decent service but the pizza was so tough hard to chew if the crust was crispy and chewable would.have been better .. extremely tough crust..
