My wife has been eating basque food since she was a little girl growing up in Bakersfield. Until last night I had never been. It did not live up to the hype. I ordered tritip for my main which was awesome but everything else was blah! The waiter could not be bothered to keep our water pitcher filled. We asked for more but all he did was remove one of the pitchers. Never brought it back. Then came the soup. Blah. Then the beans, ok! Bread followed which was ok. How do you screw...
Service was spot on and the employees were very polite and helpful. It was my first time eating Basque food, and with a little guidance, it was a wonderful experience. The soup, beans, salsa, salad, Filet of Sole, fries, spaghetti, carrots, and bread were all awesome. They just KEPT bringing food. Alot of new and exciting flavors, very savory. 10/10 reccomend, can’t go wrong here. This local business deserves your money.
