Google says they are open today on Sunday and clearly I walked there and they are closed. I don’t live here! Very disappointing that you can’t update your hours of operations!

Beautiful place!! From the reception to the last dessert plate, this place was a culinary experience from start to finish. You can tell they put a lot of thought into to everything, from the embroidery of the napkins, to the table design, the decoration, the attention to detail, the service and the food presentation, nothing is random. Elijah took great care of us. We didn’t get to meet Alex, the chef, but it’s easy to tell the chef loves what he does. We ordered the tropical ceviche, highly recommended and the ribeye was very well cooked. For dessert, we had the flan and the creme brûlée. I highly recommend the flan.
Overall I give this place a high grade. I don’t normally write reviews, let alone positive ones, but this place surprised me and it deserved high praise.

The food was good and the service was great. Elijah was one of the best servers I have had in recent memory. Didn't have to ask for anything, making sure we had everything we needed.

I went to Zama American Cuisine last night, and the experience was flawless from start to finish. I was seated immediately and my bartender Manny, was attentive and very knowledgeable about the wine list, cocktails and food menu. The lamb was exceptional, perfectly cooked with a juicy skin, and their dessert was the perfect ending to my meal. The ambiance was romantic and cozy, with dim lighting and soft music I will definitely be returning!! There s also a club next door that is connected. Casual attire!!

I feel like the greeter was racist. We walked in before a different color crowd and when they came behind us, they were greeted first. It Was very dark in there. Food was good but it took forever to get our entree when everyone else got there’s and we were there wayyyyy before them. Would of put a 5 if I didn’t feel like we were stereotyped.

Bartender Manny was amazing! I came in for a drink and he was so hospitable—he even introduced me to an incredible cocktail that, to my surprise, involved lighting it on fire! I’m so glad I chose Zamas to stop for a drink. The atmosphere and service were top-notch. Highly recommend!

What a gem in Bakersfield!
What a delicious surprise — everything was bursting with flavor! The trio of salsas was amazing (I couldn’t pick a favorite!), and the chips were so fresh and crisp. From the apps to the main course and that heavenly dessert, every bite was a win. Loved it here and can’t wait to come back for more!

Fantastic place and wonderful people. Such an easy and enjoyable process.

Food was ok, but for the price NO. Atmosphere very beautiful, but for the price and service NO. Will not be coming back. Over prices for unseason/untasteful food.
