I used to order here more frequently when I lived in Rosedale neighborhood. But moved further away. I will order more frequently even though I am now further away.

I love Zeppo’s food, but there always seems to be a problem when I go, and Halloween was really disappointing. I placed an online order at 4:30 PM for a medium pizza and jalapeño poppers and set my pickup time for 5:30 PM. I arrived at 5:45, only to be told my order wasn’t ready and would need another 30 minutes.
When I mentioned it was supposed to be ready at 5:30, the employee told me — with attitude — that “online doesn’t know how busy we are.” I get that restaurants get busy, but a 2-hour wait for a simple order that was placed well in advance is unreasonable.
I usually call in my orders, but that always leads to mistakes, so I used online ordering to avoid issues. If future online ordering can’t account for how busy they are, it shouldn’t be offered as an option. Customers need some level of accountability when they do everything right on their end.
I love the food, but the service and consistency really need improvement. This experience was frustrating and makes it hard to rely on ordering ahead

Pizza lacked flavor, got the Big Z and Giovanni. Soggy in the middle when picked up slice middle folded and toppings fell off. French fry were oily and NOT seasoned. Mozzerella sticks average frozen. 2 pizza kids chicken, small mozzerella sticks $100. Will not return

We love their thin crust pizza's! The sauce is so good we always ask for extra sauce on our pizza and toppings are fresh! Love their mango habanero chicken wings, they have really good pasta as well and we love the Zeppolis! Yum 😋

Been hearing about this place for a while. Me and my fiancé went for lunch. We got a Large pepperoni pizza, wedges, and some wings (wing Wednesday) The pizza is very good! The sauce, a crispy bottom, the sauce tasted fresh and even had small bits of tomato in it; delicious. The wedges were GREAT. They had a unique shape to them, they were very crispy on the outside, very soft inside. The wings were ok, we got buffalo and lemon pepper, Would preferred them a little crispier, but overall, Great, Even the prices were fair and the people working there were really friendly and nice.

We easily saw a picture of Zeppo’s pizza and knew we had to try it. I am so glad we did because I think it’s definitely our new favorite pizza spot in Bakersfield. We actually ended up going back 5 days later to have it again! This time we took my Grandma and Uncle & they were equally impressed! Everything we have ordered has been crazy delicious. And we’ve ended both meals with zeppoles that just make the whole meal even better. Between everyone we have had the buffalo chicken pizza, a pepperoni with Alfredo sauce, spicy Italian, vegetarian pizza, a large lunch special slice of cheese and pepperoni, the fried ravioli & of course the zeppoles! I’m giving everything a 11/10!
The staff is also super nice, they work fast, keep the restaurant very clean. There’s board games available to play as well as a small little arcade with some games and air hockey. It’s a great place! Shoutout to Mondo who was incredibly kind to my family when we came back a second time. We will continue to visit and tell everyone about this place!

We tried this place because of the KC Pizza rankings IG. If I recall correctly, they were ranked #3… My bf is from the east coast and is the BIGGEST pizza snob, but he thought that this place was the best pizza that he’s had in town and surpassed the KC Pizza rankings IG’s #1 pick.
We kept it simple and just got a plain pizza and a pepperoni pizza. Both were tasty and fresh. Service was also great and friendly. Definitely will be back
Highly recommend! Very friendly and quick service. Even were kind to bring a couple complimentary items (cannolis being one of them)10/10 . The Chile verde, spicy Italian, Hawaiian BBQ and the big Z are absolutely delicious. The gelato is amazing as well.

First time coming here and EVERYTHING was amazing. The food and the service. Joanna was very attentive and after finding out it was our first time visiting she gave us free cheese bread and free thin crust pizza to taste. Talk about good customer service, but pizza chefs kiss! Will be back!

i have tried many pizza places in my day ... and let me tell you ... this is by far the best pizza ive ever had ! i do not say this lightly. i recommend this place to everyone now . everyone that ive recommended it to love it also ! the pizza specials are awesome ! the jalapeno cheese bread sticks , wings and RANCH! are the best ...im a snob when it comes to good ranch and this one is the bomb ! very nice staff every time also . our favorite spot for sure
