Waitress 2 stars (obviously flirty with coworkers, with male customers shes overly flirtacious possibly to get a bigger tip from them. As if she previously worked at a strip club.)The younger male and female cooks and 5 stars each.But theres an older man (maybe mid 50s) whos a health hazard. Sadly, hes probably the manager.They recently added raw chicken to their restaurant. Which is great. Its neatly covered in plastic, seperated by wall barriers, behind a glass display. Impressive. UNTIL...You see, my wife and I dined in. I cant eat much cause I just got out of the hospital from having surgery, my stomach isnt settled from the anesthesia. So I didnt eat much of my plate. My wife decided to take it to go, fine by me. Additionally, she ordered raw chicken from the display I mentioned above. The old man kindly offered to take out the bones, she agreed. Then the old man starts coughing while cutting the chicken. ?? No mask on or any attempt to cover his mouth with his shoulder. Nothing. DISGUSTING. Just openly as hes cutting. I didnt want to cause a scene or anything. Just smiled, paid for it, and left. Needless to say, we got home and just threw everything out. Straight to the garbage. Now imagine whatever else goes on in here that I didnt see..

Excellent food, very rich and quality, but very bad service. They take a long time to serve you and they pass and pass and do not serve you. They are not aware of what you need like in other places. Excellent customer service. The food has that homemade delicious taste. Don't be scared of the price, the portions and the whole experience is worth it. Clean, a lot of variety in the menu, and aguas frescas.

FOOD We've ordered carnitas to eat at home twice now and both times the carnitas are flavorful and tender. We bought the tray of carnitas surtida with a little over 4 pounds for $54. It's about $13 per pound. The tortillas are handmade and always fresh. The salsa negrita is my favorite because it's spicy and slightly tangy. The salsa habanero is also good and spicy. SERVICE I have yet to eat in the restaurant but for takeout the customer service with prompt. They really prioritize each customers order while still being quick and before you leave they make sure you have everything you've ordered. AMBIANCE There's limited seating because the restaurant space is pretty small. Parking is shared with a few other businesses next door. There's another small lot across the street.

For a quick lunch stop. We were able to be seated rather quickly at 130pm on a Saturday. Craving carnitas tacos and tried the Surtidas. Wow! Delish with enough fat to keep it moist. Highly recommend:) Chile relleno was good and not too battered up. Service is attentive and courteous. This will be our go to spot for carnitas tacos.
