I have finally decided to try this restaurant after many years of wanting to visit. So happy it’s a Seafood and Mexican food restaurant. We stepped inside and were welcomed to the strains of upbeat Mexican music and by a nice and friendly hostess. She invited us to sit anywhere, then gave us the menus and complimentary chips and salsa. My son ordered the Huevos con steak, Mom had the hot cakes and eggs, and I chose the Camerones a la diabla. The food was good although little salty, just our personal preference. The shrimp were plump and juicy, not overcooked. Piping hot corn tortillas made fresh in house. The cafe de olla was bold and delicious. Their gender neutral restroom was clean and was complete with a baby changing station than can be stowed up against the wall.Vegetarian options: Not sureParking: There were enough parking spaces, it was free, wheelchair accessible spaces up front.

Went tonight and ordered a molcajete. Very tasty and the serving size was good. I brought home leftovers for tomorrow. The tomatillo sauce they use is very good. Wish it had a little kick. The rice is good. Beans are ok. I'm not a brand fan anyways. The sodas are 32oz with no refills. That soda is HUGE! I couldn't even finish 1/2 of it. Great service from what seemed to be the owner. I didn't see any other staff there. No waitresses. Pretty empty spot but it is a Wednesday and it was around 6 pm. Seems more like a weekend spot. The prices were reasonable and what you would expect dining out. The handmade corn tortillas add to the delicious flavor. I'll definitely be back

SNEAKY WAY OF RUNNING A BUSINESS.I've been a LONGTIME CUSTOMER!DIRTY SILVERWARE!OVERCHARGED TREMENDOUSLY!Been going here for years and I really enjoyed the food until this last time eating there. First 3 Dirty forks ! Then the food comes cold &I don't say anything cause I know the worker is busy so I eat the cold food and dealt with. Then the bill comes and first time ever the bill has no dollar amounts next to the items ordered . So I ask for a breakdown because the amount is just absurdFind outI'm charged 1.50 for ONE GLASS of water! $6 for 1 coke (w/1 refill) &$2 for a side of a few strands of lettuce. I was taken advantage of. NOWHERE DOES IT SAY REFILLS ARE NOT FREE AND GOING IN THE PAST I'VE NEVER HAD TO PAY FOR A REFILL I WISH I WAS AT LEAST INFORMED AND I WISH I WOULD HAVE HAD CLEAN SILVERWARE THE FIRST TIME. Now I understand why the restaurant is so lonely and there's always only one customer in there if that.SNEAKY SNEAKY MAN
