Bought tamales from here on 12/21/25 and my family and I got food poisoning. I seen so many people lined up getting them too, I wonder how many got food poisoning too. I wouldn't recommend not just because of this incident but because a lot of their bread is hard and day old from the day before, you could tell, and they still sell it, I would highly recommend Tony's down the street on olive, fresh pan dolce and Conchitas are always soft and they have better bolillo's, always fresh even late in the day they put them out fresh. The people who took over don't take pride in running Diaz bakery the same as the former people did, and it shows in the lack of quality of product they put out, it was so good back then, it's a shame it's not the same. Tony's is by far the best in BP so you should take your business there

I placed an order and paid for it in advance. When I went for a pick-up, they had given it to someone else. I called several times, and the manager was never available. She's harder to reach than the president. I left my info for the manager, and they refused to contact me. Horrible customer service.
Owner/lady refused to accept my pennies. she said I don't accept pennies cause I don't charge taxes. I was like WHat!!!.left the pennies and walked out!

I just went to diaz bakery 2nd time coming it was 7:55 and it was close the lady inside just crossed her arms and say no ! You guys should change closing hours because it says there that you close at 8:50 not 7:50 I live far and I came all The way here and it was close !
