This hole in the wall is so amazing!!!! While looking for a nice Japanese restaurant last night, I came across this restaurant on Yelp that has great reviewsAnd is in fact only 7 minutes from our West Covina home....how did we miss this???? While waiting for my sister my nephew Gabe and I decided to try their garlic edamame and soft shell crab... both were delicious and outstanding! For our entrees we shared the chicken Katsu curry... so yummy, the sashimi... very fresh... the eel roll could have used more eel but it still tasted good... and the ourstanding grilled yellowtail collar! Then we finished the meal with their TO DIE FOR HARU DOUGHNUTS with a side of geeen tea ice cream. ... super super yummy!!!! We will be coming back for more if not I know we will be ordering food from them thru UBEREATS!!!! I'm so excited to try everything o. Their menu!!!! GO AND SEE FOR YOURSELVES.... I been living in B.P for some time and I never knew a nice comfy place like this was around, today I enjoyed some nice spider rolls along with some octopus, albacore, tuna very fresh, service was great. Tofu kimchi a new for me but yummy really recommended.

Went and Friday night for dinner and the lPlace was empty. It looked a fast food restaurant from outside. Inside we say on metal chairs. Food was not bad but it was not good either. Portion size was small and inconsistent. Not Japanese owned . We tried the place baes on the yelp reviews but will not be returning Honestly my review would be 2 star but I feel bad rating a small business tooPoorly

My partner and I were visiting the area and were craving sushi! We’re so happy we found this place. The service was phenomenal! My table always remained clean because the server was clearing it of dirty plates and/or trash throughout the meal. Needless to say they are on top of it!Also the food was fantastic. The Kimchi Fried Rice was AMAZING!
We had an incredible dining experience at Haru Japanese Cuisine! The sushi was delightfully fresh and delicious, leaving us eager to return for another memorable meal.

Came in on a Sunday afternoon and it was empty and now we were a little skeptical. Owner was very attentive and we were greeted and sat down quickly. Our order was taken and within minutes our food was ready.I have to say it was very tasty and prices were reasonable. I have it a four star because the tuna roll wasn't all that great. Wish they had more hand roll options. It shares parking with Starbucks and dollar tree, but still have sufficient parking. Place is very clean and tidy. Staff very polite and quick. We will come back again to try new things.
