It’s temporarily closed but I hope it opens again soon. The food was incredibly delicious, this place really was a hidden gem stone of SGV.

Definitely not on the cheaper side becos they use and incorporate such high-quality ingredients -- but had to come for the one time. Creamy and milky drink + crispy and burnt dumplings... FAV I remember my friends and I would come here after school before an event or for a journalism assignment and they even handed out free samples in the beginning! The owners were so incredibly cute and friendly and I hope that they can reopen/open a new location soon. I love the yellow interior and how quaint it feels inside. Parking is not ideal but you can find down the urban streets or next to King Taco parking lot.

Not cheap ingredients. Great quality but parking sucks. Park by King Taco parking lot and walk over

First of all, they are closing shop in the end of june 2021..so sad but I can understand why. My parents own a restaurant and it seems like it is a mom and pop shop as well. They were running back and forth preparing all the orders and I know from personal experience how difficult it is to run a restaurant. Their food was very yummy and so was their costumer service. I hope they prosper where ever they go. COME AND TRY OUT THIS PLACE BEFORE THEY CLOSE THEIR DOORS.

Yelp Reviews: Quarantine Edition #119 Not what you're expecting. When I first heard about Jumping 1 Ton I expected it to be something like Button Mash or EightyTwo in Downtown LA: a millennial-owned barcade that serves idiosyncratic fusion food. Well, the food here is definitely interesting but there's no arcade games and the owners appear to be a nice middle aged couple. No matter, I came for the food and the menu at Jumping 1 Ton actually has some pretty distinctive offerings. The namesake Jumping Wontons are a mix of familiar and unusual options: Chicken, Pork, Veggie and Pork, Veggie and Chicken, Veggie and Mushroom, Shrimp and Pork, Shrimp and Chicken, Crab and Cream Cheese, and Beef and Cheese... and I think that's it. I got combo #10 to try all 9 varieties ($9.85) and I'll be honest, it was hard to tell apart which from which, but that's ok because they're all delicious! Along with the fried wontons they give you different sauces to dip them into: chili oil, honey mustard, and sweet and sour sauce. What I liked even more than the Jumping Wontons was the Kimcheese Short Rib Sandwich ($9.59). Made with Beef Short Rib, Kimchi, Melted Provolone and Ghost Pepper Jack on Wheat Berry Toast, there was no way this fusion melt was gonna taste bad. Crispy, buttery bread sandwiching gooey melted cheese and fatty short rib, it's the type of hot sandwich that's worth the drive to get. To wash it all down, I got a large Honey Milk Green Tea ($4.35) that is served in a cup the size of a little bucket a la Half & Half Tea House. And that's when it hit me... this place is basically a boba shop that serves really distinctive food combinations that I haven't seen anywhere else. And I didn't even get to try their Chicken Curry and Katsu Curry rice plates! There are so many meat and rice plates being served all over SGV but the food here caught me by surprise to the point where I definitely want to come back to give those a try as well! If you're looking for something off the beaten path in Baldwin Park that isn't typical boba shop food, give this place a try.

Their 1 Ton flavors are heaven and even with their Hokkaido bubble tea. Their service is helpful and friendly. The manager or owner goes above and beyond to cater to your needs. Their food service may take awhile when making the orders, which I don't mind if food is all I can think about.

First timer. Hard working staff onsite. Safety procedures are in place. Delicious sandwiches with a tasty twist. Affordable meals available too. Check them out!

Came here a few time just for their teas and once for their food. Every single time has been an absolute treat.Lets start with the location. It can be extremely hard to find the restaurant since it sits right behind a tall building. Parking can also be a bit weird depending on availability, but there is plenty around. Service was great and quick. It may take a bit of time for the food to come out if there are other orders in place which is typically a given for a small establishmentThe food was amazing. I ordered 8-pieces of the Chicken and Vegetable wontons and the Kimchi Short Rib Sandwich. I was able to share this with one other person. The Sandwich was perfect and the kimchi worked so well with the Short RIb. Was was not salty at all. The wonton was really good as well. The person behind the counter gave me three sauces to use with them, one being a sweet and chili sauce, chili oil, and I wasnt sure about the last one.The drinks here are also just as splendid as the food. The cups are really wide and well-worth the price. I was able to try both the regular Jasmine Green Tea and Old Time Milk Tea both with boba and they were perfect. The boba the three times I have come here were perfectly chewy and sweet. The drinks were great, with the Old Time Milk Tea taking the top spot as being extremely creamy and not very sweet.All-in-all, I would definitely come back as I have three times now. The whole experience is perfect!

Americanized Asian dumpling place in Baldwin park!? It's about time! And this is run by a cute little Asian family Tried the fried dumplings and Kim chi sandwich today. The fried dumplings were pretty good. Very deep fried and the filling is generous. It comes with the typical sweet and sour sauce on the side. I liked that the dumplings were a good size so you can really taste the filling versus just battered wonton skin. The Kim her short rib sandwich was loaded with meat which seems like a good thing but at times I felt like the meat, Kim chee, and bread ratio was off. I wish there was a little more spread and Kim chee. I plan on coming back to try other things on the menu. This restaurant definitely seems promising and is much needed in a city that doesn't have much fun Asian places to dine.

This is one of my go to places to eat during my lunch break at work! I work in Baldwin Park, but never come here to eat out so this was defintetly my chance to try the places around here. The place is a family owned business and they are super friendly! Their customer service is amazing and one of the best that I have ever experience. I haven't had a bad dish from this place yet and their drinks are also to die for. Parking isn't very hard to find and I would suggest either ordering online or ordering through the phone as they spend some quality making and preparing your food so that its fresh when you get it. The Shrimp Poboy is my absolute favorite and I get it nearly every single time I go there. I'll definetly have to their their crab and cream cheese wontons next.

The owners are totally sweet and welcoming . The short rib sando is fantastic , it's huge and I was only able to eat half . My boys loved it too . We ordered several types of dumplings . Got a few orders of the assorted . It was all delicious but we couldn't really decipher what the dumplings had in it . But like I said , they were all yummy. My boys wanted to try to try their drinks so we ordered the aurora and the summer which were very sweet . I typically don't like my boys to drink soda or sweet boba type drinks . Call in your order , we had to wait a little bit but it's worth it .

I heard through the SGV Eats grapevine to come here for the pork jerky! My first visit, I just came to get the jerky. The only had the original, no spicy. Goes by the 1/4 pound. Took it on a road trip and everybody loved it. Tasted like the Chinese sweet sausage, but flattened out. The gentleman is so kind and sweet. He explained the care for these jerky as if he was giving a part of his heart out. My 2nd visit, which was a few days later. I got there and they had the spicy jerky!!! Same jerky but had chili flakes. Not spicy for me, but has a nice kick. Decided this visit, I'm going to get the wontons! Got me some pork n veg and crab n cheese. Comes in 8 or 12 pieces with chili oil, sweet sauce and a honey mustard like sauce. I took pics and ate it in my car. Didn't even make it home! Will go back n try the rice n curry and sandwiches, but I really wish they would use the wontons for like wonton soup or chili wontons.
