I was reading the reviews, and they are true!! What is wrong with the girls behind the counter....lol? Are they on the spectrum or just raised without manners? Whatever it is, do yourself a favor and don't waste your money here... or do... up to you. I'm one to use reviews as a preparation before I go to a restaurant. And man, they were not kidding. Get ready to have a childish attitude given to you by these girls the moment you walk in. .... at least they don't discriminate. I saw them act like animals with everyone that approached the counter. I went to Stars Burger as someone else suggested in their reviews, and dude! 110% total opposite in customer service. Crazy! I don't know why this community tolerates a business to treat customers in that form.

I laughed so hard at how much the two girls behind the counter wanted to act tough working at a diner. Service is horrible, I mean, we're talking 90s ghetto tattooed eyebrows, yelling, wannabe cholas. Would I come back. Never! Would I recommend this place? No, why would I want to spend my hard earn money on mediocre food with passive-aggressive service. Do yourself a favor, and go down the street to Stars Burger. You will see the difference in night and day on what customer service should be like. I would be upset as well being 40 working as a cashier. But I didn't make wrong life choices....

I’ve been coming here for quite a while now, although I’m not a resident of Arcadia/El Monte. I’ve been coming here with my friend, Elmer, and this is our go to place every time. Usually around my house I would probably try other places, depending on what suits my needs but, Robs Grill has it all. And I have not tried them just yet, which is a good thing, because it means that the food is quite rich in this place. I opened it up to all these people who passed by here, try this place. And also, they’re very good with blind people. They know us it seems so we get taken care of quite comfortably.Parking: I come here with paratransit, so I’m not really sure about the parking, but I’m pretty sure it’s a good waypoint destination to pick somebody up. And it’s free yes.Kid-friendliness: For New Year’s we saw a bunch of people and a lot of kids running around. Can you imagine that? New Year’s Day this restaurant was wide open for breakfast. God bless them all.
I believe it's a family owned restaurant. The two females in the counter are the typical loud, uneducated ghetto behavior. They look as if they are unhappy working there...sad. I tried supporting local, as I just bought a house in the neighborhood... But I wasn't surprised by this type of customer service. If you don't believe me, try it for yourself. I would like to sincerely recommend dining at this establishment. The quality of the food here is truly exceptional. Personally, I have always had positive experiences whenever I visited this restaurant. I don't like to be rushed at the order counter. Especially when they offer so many choices. The kitchen and front of house are kept very clean, but the magic dust powder they put on their food, including the fries, makes me dizzy, and I don't like chemicals in my food, when they is no reason. They should stick with salt and pepper. MSG or whatever they use is just rubbish.
Last time I came here they got my order completely wrong, I had to drive all the way back after arriving home already. Usually I go here for the Cowboy salad, it's good sized and pretty filling. This night I wanted to try something different, big mistake. As I pulled up to the drive-thru someone played a "closed" recording on the speakers, since there was a car at the window I was gonna back out. Then someone came on the speakerphone and asked to take my order. (I could hear laughing in the background) it was very rude, but I was a good sport and decided to order anyway. I hadn't a chance to check out the rest of the menu yet, so I asked them to wait a second, she agreed in a not so nice tone....I asked about the chicken sandwich combo, I was rushed and the girl at the window suggested it would be good to pull up...but I wasn't done ordering. (My son wanted onion rings) , then she forgets to ask what drink I wanted. So I pull up, I was charged $25.00! It was steep, but ok as long as the food is good. Someone else hands be my food, before I can ask for ketchup, she slammed the window in my face. After waiting 15 min in the drive-already I was getting frustrated. The original girl opened the window and rudely asked what I needed, I asked for ketchup, she plopped 5 in my hand and two fell on the ground. She snarks and says sorry laughing at what the fry cook was saying. I guess he didn't realize that I speak Spanish, he said "hurry up so I (meaning me) can go already". Very rude. I get home and the bread on the sandwich was old a had that yeast smell. I had to throw the bun away. The fries were hot, but some were under cooked, and the ice in my drink had all melted so I had a watery soda. The onion rings were great but they gave only one little container of ranch! I'll be looking for a new salad place, Lol.
