Came to SGM to see what’s the big deal with the marinated meat and chicken the truth never again over priced

Dude. I walked in here with high expectations and they still blew me away. Al pastor, asada, chicken thighs, a pack of fresh tortillas, fresh salsa, fire serranos. $34 and I fed 4 people probably the best taco night they'd had this year. Everything was fantastic and I will be back. The freeway exit to get there from Arcadia is garbage but the food is worth it.

I stopped by here for the first time and I tried their tacos. I got to admit I liked them and they were pretty good. I had the privilege of meeting the owner. He greeted me very well and his employees were also very great to me. I came back a week later to buy some ranchera, chicken and ribs to grill at a gathering. I will say that the people at the gathering asked me where i get the meat from? I told them San Gabriel Market. I highly recommend this place

Although I enjoy the food and the great meat they sell here and have for so many years. Today I stopped by for some meat and overheard a conversation between the guys in the meat department. They were cussing in spanish using really offensive words. I fi d it very uncomfortable walking into an establishment with that type of language being spoken. Its so out of place. They should take that conversation to the bar or their homes. I do hope the owners talk to these workers who are representing them. I for one am not comfortable going there anymore.

A treasure in BP-I don’t get to go to SGM enough, but when I do, their tacos are great! They also have produce, carnicería, tortillería (great chips & salsas), pan dulce and if you go early fresh coffee!

Overpriced got short ribs and was 70% bone instead of a regular and chicken was mostly cuero 50/50 staff is nice but will stick to lacarniceriameatmarket

Conchas are super soft and café del roca 🔥🔥😋 I had Huevos Ranchero too very tasty

We just moved to Baldwin Park a few months ago and discovered SGM. Some of the best meat we’ve ever had… the prime flap meat is so tender and juicy. Please order it marinated, it’s so delicious!

I bought some Tasajo meat too grill at home and it was delicious! Really loved the dodger Blue tortillas ?. Carne was juicy and tender! Definitely will be going back.

I purchased 7 lbs of ranchera prime yesterday and I was disappointed as the meat was not tender as usual will not ever return it tasted more like choice!

The food is really great good quality especially chorizo House handmade
