Will definitely return in the future when traveling through the area. It's a little off the highway to get to but well worth it. Large selection on the menu for food and they had drink specials going they gave some samples of. Great place.“

“We met a server named Esther! I really loved how she served, especially with the positive attitude she had. She gave us a really good experience at BJ’s, I might not forget this. “Had such an amazing Easter Sunday brunch at The Upper Room! 🐣🌸 Even though they were super busy and packed, they still went out of their way to accommodate our family with a wheelchair-accessible table for our son in his stroller wheelchair — that meant so much to us. The food was absolutely incredible, and our server was truly top notch. What really stood out was how comfortable he made our family feel — our baby, who is usually very shy around strangers, kept asking him for hugs 🥹 Overall, such a warm, welcoming, and memorable experience. “This review is solely for the server Monique (I believe her name is) . 6/28 at about 4am I called asking if this location participates in the birthday reward and she was so sweet over the phone telling me yes and ensuring I knew what I needed when coming in to redeem it. She wasn’t hesitant to help or rude about it.

After trying 2 Stockton locations and 1 Lathrop location and being turned down saying they are private franchise and don’t participate, this location does participate.

I was able to enjoy my value slam which was cooked to perfection shout out the cook!!

“Honestly really delicious, my girlfriend got the chicken and shrimp and it was super flavorful and genuinely cooked really well. I ended up getting their Bourbon Street Steak and it was cooked exactly how i asked for and the garlic butter that came with it was delicous, buuut my steak idk what cut it was but it did have a tendon or whatever it was like a hard thing going through the steak and it was kindaaa unpleasant but it was still weirdly good. And for appetizer we got the Artichoke dip, my girlfriend really enjoyed it but i will say its veeeery Parmasen forward.“

Taking our three kids out to eat can sometimes be a logistical challenge, so being able to walk right up to Barnwood without leaving the Manteca resort was a huge plus.The atmosphere is a nice, rustic change of pace from the loud pool areas—it actually feels like a relaxing upscale pub. The food was surprisingly good for a family-focused hotel. We shared a few plates, and the adult menu had some genuinely good options like the hot chicken and craft cocktails. Just as importantly, they had a solid kids' menu that kept our two daughters and our son completely happy with the usual staples like chicken tenders and mac and cheese. I'm giving it 4 stars mostly because you are definitely paying premium resort prices, and the service was a bit slow during the dinner rush. That said, the sheer convenience of not having to strap everyone into the car after a long day of swimming makes it worth the cost. A great spot to grab a drink and a good meal before heading back to the room.“
