Good food & good service.
Good food. (5 years ago)
Well, something has happened. Service was OK, not great, but the food was bad. I had the chicken burrito. The chicken was severely overcooked and dry as hell as well as being quite under seasoned. The wife had the flautas, also the same dry chicken plus the tortillas were burnt. The rice and beans were bland as hell. If I was forced to say something positive, I'd say the portions were good. But how much bad food is a good deal.

Casa Jimenez in Fontana was so delicious. I seen it in Barstow and decided to try it. I was so disappointed. Me and my mother both got sick. The food was not fresh. It seemed like it was old. The only reason I gave it 1 star was because the waiter was friendly. It was the worse Mexican restaurant I ever been to.

Nice looking place attentive staff but my drink litterally smelled like sewer and the food was really bland which kind of trumps everything good I noticed

The service was exceptional, with no extra effort I was able to make eye contact with my waitress because she was anticipating it, and I wasn’t the only customer as it was lunch time. Very rare and thus precious. The food, for a Mexican place, was just ok, I ordered enchiladas which came with rice and beans but without salad and sour cream, although when I asked for it, it was served for just additional $2. The restroom was quite an experience too. The atmosphere was very cozy and quiet, so definitely try it out if you are in the area.

Grossest food. Dirty tables and we felt as though we were a burden for being there.
