“I like Foster Freeze, no serious complaints but there REALLY NEEDS to be a standard for the amount of fixings added to a twister. Ive gotten a medium Reese’s twister almost every day this past month and sometimes it’s a good amount, sometimes (very few) it’s a lot and then sometimes it’s like they forgot to put some in. I mean I pay almost $8 for this I should get a standard amount each time!”

“I didn't see anything about food but the bartender was very friendly. That is always nice going to place for first time. They had a live band playing. They played well and it was like folk music. Just one of my favorites to listen to.the beer was cold and drinks were poured wonderful! If you like the game of pool, then you will be happy here. 2 tables that are level . The bad would be area. The surrounding buildings were borded up which didn't bother me but might others. There was a guy who wanted to use my phone. That seemed weird with his story. Something about buying a Ferrari! Lol . When leaving we had wonderful views of police cars with spotlights shining across street. They were looking for someone and we didn't want to meet him so left fast lol”

“The staff is wonderful as long as you are nice to them. Mary Jane is delightful so is Tre,Paco,Dawn,Rosa,Solena, are some of the names that come to mind. The food is good and the price is comparable to other places in Barstow. I'd go back again”

Located near the highway it was easy access and fast service. No problem. We went from our drive from Las Vegas to Los Angeles.”

“This is a locals bar that was very friendly. We stumbled on The 86ers on Thanksgiving Day and there was a good crowd. They had a nice Thanksgiving dinner set up for everyone that was free. I felt that the drinks were a little pricey but what isn’t these days. We struck up a conversation with a couple of locals and we laughed for hours. We had a great time. If were ever back in Barstow overnight we will definitely go there again.”

“It’s located in the Barstow train station, along with a whole food court and vendors trying to sell merchandise. The food is delicious and kids love it here. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. There’s plenty of room to eat and have fun with your friends and families. There’s public parking located in the lot and there’s bathrooms available.”

“I was greeted when I walked in and was promptly helped and was told there are no meals, all the food and drinks are individual. I think it's called a-la-cart if I spelled it right. I had the Surf Sandwich, green bean fries and a drink. It was hot and fresh, I will go back again. The only negative was the same gentleman that helped me, there was no friendliness after I paid, he tossed my receipt onto the counter at me and walked away. I would have thought I would of been handed the receipt and explained to that this was my number and when it was called, I would need to go up to the counter to get it, but this did NOT happen. The food was fresh and good and maybe the guy was having a bad day.”

The restaurant was extremely busy, with at least 20 people in line, yet Danica remained calm, composed, and highly efficient throughout it all. She seamlessly managed multiple responsibilities serving customers, keeping the refill stations stocked, and directing other employees without missing a beat.

Her leadership and professionalism truly stood out. It’s not easy to maintain that level of poise and organization under pressure, but she handled it effortlessly and created a positive experience for everyone in line.

We usually sit right in the front at the surfboard shaped table, that seats eight. Every server we've had has taken the best care of us. Now when we go we belly up to the bar. last night we went and our bartender's name was Angel. What a sweetheart She took the best care of us! We have over 4,000 points and not a clue on how to use them lol. She helped us last nigh and our meal was almost free! Besides it being consistently delicious they are fast and the food is always piping hot! Johnny got the regular ground beef tacos and I got my all-time favorite birria tacos with consomme!!”
