Combo plate has small fresh crispy mixed salad, half a sweet orange and generous amount of white rice with your choice of protein. 50 cents more for brown rice. $15 for 5 medium shrimp on a skewer and generous portion of chicken. Clean simple dining room and bathrooms. Quick service even though food is made to order. Very close to Highway 15 offramp.”

“I like Foster Freeze, no serious complaints but there REALLY NEEDS to be a standard for the amount of fixings added to a twister. Ive gotten a medium Reese’s twister almost every day this past month and sometimes it’s a good amount, sometimes (very few) it’s a lot and then sometimes it’s like they forgot to put some in. I mean I pay almost $8 for this I should get a standard amount each time!”

“I didn't see anything about food but the bartender was very friendly. That is always nice going to place for first time. They had a live band playing. They played well and it was like folk music. Just one of my favorites to listen to.the beer was cold and drinks were poured wonderful! If you like the game of pool, then you will be happy here. 2 tables that are level . The bad would be area. The surrounding buildings were borded up which didn't bother me but might others. There was a guy who wanted to use my phone. That seemed weird with his story. Something about buying a Ferrari! Lol . When leaving we had wonderful views of police cars with spotlights shining across street. They were looking for someone and we didn't want to meet him so left fast lol”

“The McDonalds is pretty cool, with some cool touristy shops next to it. You do have to pay for the bathroom but it is pretty chill.
The train theme is perfect for Barstow's beautiful heritage, celebrating what put Barstow on the map. There is a cool Ronald McDonald guy in there too, that you can take pictures with.
Well let me tell you there is nothing I dislike more in the world then a McDonalds where you cant refill your own drink. But I understand though, it is very tricky in today's day and age. In the same sentence I am disappointed fhe bathroom isnt free, but I understand.

“This is a locals bar that was very friendly. We stumbled on The 86ers on Thanksgiving Day and there was a good crowd. They had a nice Thanksgiving dinner set up for everyone that was free. I felt that the drinks were a little pricey but what isn’t these days. We struck up a conversation with a couple of locals and we laughed for hours. We had a great time. If were ever back in Barstow overnight we will definitely go there again.”

I was only disappointed seeing frozen patties going into some kind of conveyor and coming out the other end (after being handled by a lady wearing those cheap plastic gloves) having touched everything within her station that wasn’t necessarily clean😔”

Pretty much no reason to eat at any other other burger place as The Habit is superior in quality and price. Even In N Out burns their buns and patties while I don't experience that at The Habit.”

Having an indoor PlayPlace is a lifesaver when traveling with young kids—it gave them the perfect chance to climb around, stretch their legs, and burn off energy in a clean, air-conditioned space. The restaurant was clean, easy to access from the highway, and ideal for a quick meal and restroom break. Highly recommend this location to parents traveling through the area!”

“We have been coming since they opened. We are very impressed. At first we thought it was fast food no big deal. But we love it, we've had most of our birthday parties there. We usually sit right in the front at the surfboard shaped table, that seats eight. Every server we've had has taken the best care of us. Now when we go we belly up to the bar. last night we went and our bartender's name was Angel. What a sweetheart She took the best care of us! We have over 4,000 points and not a clue on how to use them lol. She helped us last nigh and our meal was almost free! Besides it being consistently delicious they are fast and the food is always piping hot! Johnny got the regular ground beef tacos and I got my all-time favorite birria tacos with consomme!!”
