Don't judge by the appearance. Very nice Route 66-themed eatery. Customer service very fast with delicious food and very large portions. Very nostalgic and staff very friendly.
We were driving through Barstow on Labor Day, and googled a breakfast place, and Roy's Cafe was the #2 choice listed after Black Bear Diner, which we knew would be packed, so we chose Roy's Cafe. It's not far off the freeway, and though it looked boarded up, and unassuming, it was open for business and we were immediately warmly greeted, seated, by Bernardo, the cook, and had coffee right away. The menu choices were perfect for each one of us.

We just moved to Barstow and this is one of our favorite diners so far we've been here at least 6+ times and every single time has been delicious
