“I had a carnitas burrito with red chile sauce and it was to die for. 10/10 My kid ordered their Philly cheesesteak and was equally impressed. Friendly and fast service. Clean and comfortable seating. We were just passing through but will definitely stop in again next time we find ourselves in Barstow.“

“Left Barstow in 2007. Tried many Mexican Mom & Pop places from Kansas City Mo, to Houston TX, to Dallas/Ft Worth TX. Most of them would’ve been ok had we never known Platas, but they do fail in comparison. Happy to come home and still have this deliciousness available!!!❤️“

“This place was absolutely amazing! I had the cowboy burger, the chili I got extra to take home with me it was so good! This is definitely my new favorite spot to eat! The waitress was very enjoyable, she made me feel like she knew me! Awesome atmosphere too. I definitely recommend this restaurant it is amazing, thank you Pit Stop for giving Barstow another nice place to eat!👍👍😘“

“Excellent place for burgers, tacos, or deserts. Mr. Roy came by our table and told us some history of the restaurant. He and his staff are very kind and accommodating. His burgers are the best in Barstow. Our group tried a variety of the deserts and all were wonderful. This is a great place to get some churros and shakes.“

“Food was good, particularly the guacamole and the dining area was clean. I had the three rolled tacos with rice & beans. But.... this place is really over priced. I'll probably just go to El Pollo loco next time I'm passing through just because it's sooo much cheaper.“

“We had to make a stop for a quick bite around Barstow and we happened to see good reviews about this place on Google and decided to try it. We had the place to ourselves like a little date . The girl at the cashier counter was very courteous and patient with us while we decided on What to order. The pizzas were made fresh right in front of us. All together we had a good time.“

“We stopped by the iHop on our way back from Vegas. Staff here are so very friendly and accommodating of our requests. Especially, Erica, who helped us from the start to finish. She was attentive of our big group’s requests. We’d love to be back!“
