“I had a carnitas burrito with red chile sauce and it was to die for. 10/10 My kid ordered their Philly cheesesteak and was equally impressed. Friendly and fast service. Clean and comfortable seating. We were just passing through but will definitely stop in again next time we find ourselves in Barstow.“

“Left Barstow in 2007. Tried many Mexican Mom & Pop places from Kansas City Mo, to Houston TX, to Dallas/Ft Worth TX. Most of them would’ve been ok had we never known Platas, but they do fail in comparison. Happy to come home and still have this deliciousness available!!!❤️“

“This place was absolutely amazing! I had the cowboy burger, the chili I got extra to take home with me it was so good! This is definitely my new favorite spot to eat! The waitress was very enjoyable, she made me feel like she knew me! Awesome atmosphere too. I definitely recommend this restaurant it is amazing, thank you Pit Stop for giving Barstow another nice place to eat!👍👍😘“

eat at this place. it's every local hometown cafe. the people are beyond kind, as i witnessed the waitress giving a bagel to a homeless person who asked -i've Never seen any restaurant give food to someone who needed it.
good food, big tasty hamburgers. i felt like they would have called me by my first name upon entering, if i lived here.

“It's Barstow. It's hot, there's nothing to do but at least there is Los Alazanes.
Los Alazanes does a good Carne Asda fries.
It's simple: crisp, crunchy french fries topped with carne Asda, guacamole and sour cream.
Add salsa to taste from their salsa bar, and you have a good rest stop meal.
They have a full line up of aguas frescas too, definitely don't sleep on their guava aguas frescas! Definitely coming by again.“

“We had to make a stop for a quick bite around Barstow and we happened to see good reviews about this place on Google and decided to try it. We had the place to ourselves like a little date . The girl at the cashier counter was very courteous and patient with us while we decided on What to order. The pizzas were made fresh right in front of us. All together we had a good time.“

“Stopped by on my way to Las Vegas and had a great experience. Sandra was quick, friendly, and very attentive throughout my visit. One thing I really appreciated was that she took the time to recommend several drink options, which was helpful since I was feeling indecisive. Her suggestions made choosing easy, and her positive attitude made the whole stop much more enjoyable. Great service and a great start to my trip—thank you, Sandra! 😊🚗☕🥞“
