Tokyo, like the city, Glowing in the dusk of polluted desert skies along a busy street 2 hours from nowhere. Dining alone I walked to the bar, may I was in order. “Ichiban, tall.” The chef, Kazu, careful not to be seen in his quick study of customers, cleaning the skin from a salmon filet, sharp is his knife, asks if I’m ready. I order off the menu, otoro and uni sushi. “If you have it.” He does. It’s glorious. I ask for a plate of sashimi, his choice, “I like everything from tamago to saba” indicating my adventurous side despite my American heritage. Again he obliges. Textures, flavors, chile, wasabi, playing with my senses so delightful. Im floating now in the ether, buying a beer for the chef which he opens to a cheers, the universal language on a plate, a shared emotion, his love for craft apparent. I almost forgot my jacket by the time I cleared my plate. I never the question the price of the experience, as it is priceless. And this man, in this place, at this time in my life is worth every single penny. 2 thumbs up, a cheers and an applause. Thank you chef. What we ate was very delicious (look at the photos) and I heard good comments from the next table about the chilaquiles. ??
My husband ordered fried chicken and fries ? he told me it was delicious and I confirmed it ???? I forgot to take the photo. ?

Parking: Since it is a plaza, you could stay a little far away, with luck you can find parking nearby.

Kid-friendliness: If there is a children's menu and the fruit is fresh, the strawberry and banana crepes ? are very good. ?????“

“Perfect meal, I came back and I asked for a tavern cut classic, I told Elizabeth to add jalapeño and BURN IT! And they did just that! I love my crust super crunchy and they understood the assignment. My drinks, my pizookie and my pizza were again perfect. Elizabeth really takes care of business and I don’t even have to order. I don’t know how she does it but she memorizes everything and pretty much knows what I want. Sorry crew but she on point always!“

“Stopped for lunch at Richies Diner for the first time today. Our Server, Dakota, was super friendly and attentive during our meal. My wife and I both had the club sandwich with fries and it was everything we were wanting. The fries were nice and crunchy and the Club sandwich was excellent. We will definitely be coming back.“

“I travel throughout US. This is one of the best birria places in USA for me right now. The place is very small. There are lines often because the place is that good. I park about a block away in an empty parking lot because it's that busy. So if you want delicious birria, patience my gringo friends. You will get a table, you will be attended, you will be served. If you want birria de chiva get there before 8am otherwise don't whine about leftovers when you insist after they tell you they only have beef left.“

“Had the pleasure of having Amber take care of my family this morning, and she was great. She was courteous, attentive, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our meal. We also had several other staff members stop by to check on us, which was really appreciated.

The eggs initially came out a little watery, but the staff took care of it immediately and replaced them with fully cooked eggs without any hassle. Things don’t always come out perfect, but the way the staff handled it made all the difference. Overall, the great service and experience more than made up for the small issue. We really enjoyed our visit!“
