Food was amazing, plenty to choose from. Catfish and cobbler is to die for.
The peach cobbler and the banana pudding is very delicious. I love it 😍.

Southern Twist is a family-owned restaurant in Barstow, worth the drive. The food is delicious, served hot and ready, with huge portions. Meat is on point, super soft, tender, and juicy. The oxtails are large and flavorful; the beef ribs are great. Other meals include fried catfish, smothered turkey leg, smoked turkey wings, smothered pork chops, and meatloaf. Sides like candied yams, cabbage, greens, green beans, baked beans, mac and cheese, and rice are amazing. Customer service is top tier. The restaurant has Tesla chargers in the parking lot, a gas station, AC, and clean rest rooms for paying customers. It is highly recommended for anyone in the area or passing by, especially en route to Las Vegas or leaving Vegas for Cali.
