Every time we drive through Barstow we have to stop at Jenny's. We discovered Jenny's by accident when we pulled into Denny's across the street thank God it looked more appealing at Jenny's. I place it in my top four of all-time pancake favorites. Place gets busy before 11:00 for the breakfast specials even if you don't catch the specials it's a great value for the portions in the taste you get show up anytime. I'm picky on coffee and don't mind getting refills here especially in the Jenny's mugs which are oversized and I took one home for a small fee what day will catch it for something other than breakfast but we're hooked

No flavor on the meat no flavor in the beans are the rice just super bland and she was urging me out the door before I even sat down even though there was 50 minutes left on the clock before they close and I’m a very quick eater I would not return and don’t recommend it. I don’t see what all the hype is about this place or maybe that’s just how they treat the gringo.

Food was great had the asada plate onions bell peppers,all beans they put cheese,came wit guac,sour cream, clean, very friendly,food had plenty of flavor,,Not white washed sorry not sorry

They cooked up the best pork chops I have had in years, so tasty and served on a sizzling black Iron platter. Amazing!!!

We came for the nice reviews and were not disappointed at all.
The ladies who served us were sweet and friendly. The food was yummy and the size of the portion was big enough to fill a hungry tummy.
We'll be back whenever coming through Barstow again.

Recommended dishes: Chille Relleno and Enchiladas

Highly recommended by hotel staff. I went in off hours around 415 PM. Beer was very cold! Food was barely warm. I shouldn’t have ask for recommendations as I think I got what was left over from lunch. Taste was ok but not even warm.

Jenny’s has been a Barstow staple for decades. Excellent high quality meals! Some of the local favorite dishes are: Chili Colorado, Chili Relleno and the extra large Wet Red or Green Burritos. The employees love serving food and engaging in light conversation. Most of the employees at Jenny’s have been with Jenny’s since the very beginning. That is their level of commitment to Jenny’s, their customers and the City of Barstow. Stop in for a bite!
