Coming back from Laughlin I was hungry for some authentic Mexican food, not Del Taco. I noticed Maria's & liked the outside decor.
Friendly, relaxing atmosphere. I ordered a pollo burrito & coke. The burrito was excellent & you can taste the difference from fast food joints. I relaxed a little before I hit the road, something I almost never do.
Stop by you won't be disappointed !! It smelled so good I ate half of it before I took the photo

This has to be the best authentic Mexican food in all of barstow it's pricey but well worth it food full of flavor each plate is delicious in its own way I highly recommend this establishment to anyone who really wants to try how Mexican homemade food tastes like. Some of the dishes I've gotten are the trio fajitas, shrimp costamar green enchiladas, beef vegetables soup (caldo de res), chilaquiles both red and green sauce with carne asada two over medium eggs Mexican country potatos and beans. Maria did right setting up shop serving high quality food.

Fast service, friendly staff, and a great family-owned spot offering dine-in or takeout. The food is really good with generous portions, and the homemade chips are a standout. All of their sauces are made fresh on site. Super convenient location between the TA and Love’s, making it a short walk from either truck stop, with a truck wash on site. Easy, solid option without moving the truck.

I just want to say I came in today around 2:30's to 2:40pm With my group of friends we had a seat and waited to someone to take our order, the waitress with the long black hair was just looking but never bother to come by and take our order, She was more busy talking/Comfortable to another customer that seems like she knew this person. We still waited patiently and we where also very hungry we almost decided get up and leave somewhere else, When the waitress saw we where just looking at her she finally came over and took our order. Shame on this place customer service/ waitress horrible when it comes in ignoring your customers.

Bomb bomb food but prices are a bit much! I get a taquito plate and it comes out to almost $20
i ordered a steak and eggs burrito.. what i got was an hash brown burrito .. there’s literally no meat in there.. not worth what i paid

Ordered two $14.99 burritos and two soft drinks. Server asked if we wanted cheese and extra meat. It doesn't say anywhere on the menu how much extra meat costs. And I should have asked. One would assume $2-3, not $5.75! And $5 each for a soft drink! Total price for 2 burritos and 2 soft drinks (before the tip) $64.21. The food was good, but I'll never go there again. Buyer beware.

The best authentic Mexican food I've had this side of Mexico City. Everything is fresh and has that homemade taste. We always stop here on our road trips. I Highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed. The pazole is my wife's favorite. Chicken enchiladas with rice and beans for me.

Literally, the best Mexican restaurant I've ever been to.In my whole dang life. Got a chile verde burrito wet which was is strongly recommended. Man where they right. Text myself I cant possibly eat this whole burrito.It's so big. Couldn't stop taking bite after bite I ate the whole damn thing. If you're in Barstow, this is a must. Go to maria's mexican restaurant
