Pork and potato burrito...THE BOMB. When in Barstow we stop at Plata's everytime. They use real potatoes, no cheating with french fries. The pork is juicy and full of flavor. Love coming here for the always good food. Service is quick and staff are happy.

My family used to love eating here but the last few times it's not been so good the carne asada was very tough in my husbands burrito as well as on my carne asada plate and on September 29th I ordered the 15.99 breakfast burrito special which the potatoes weren't even brown they were just soft to chew.My sister ordered the tamale plate which should of said corn tamale no meat because there was nothing but masa I saw absolutely no meat in her tamale whatsoever.Most likely won't return because we are here two weekends in row and both times the food was disappointing and on the 29,the of September my bill was almost,70.00 yesterday my husband and my bill was almost 36.00.

This place is the best Plata's out of the three that are in Barstow by far. The food is amazing, the workers are outstanding, and the atmosphere is nice. This review has been long over due because I've ordered from them since I was a child and nothing has changed about service and food quality.
It was super easy to order, very relaxed environment, the owner took our order and was so friendly and helpful, he new his customers and he was such a happy person, the food was excellent, we ate the food to fast I forgot to get pictures of it

Very small roadside resteraunt got the carnitasl tacos very bland. The meat was dry. It just didn't have much flavor had to drench my meat with the red sauce, and chips were delish.
