Very small roadside resteraunt got the carnitasl tacos very bland. The meat was dry. It just didn't have much flavor had to drench my meat with the red sauce, and chips were delish.
Left Barstow in 2007. Tried many Mexican Mom & Pop places from Kansas City Mo, to Houston TX, to Dallas/Ft Worth TX. Most of them would’ve been ok had we never known Platas, but they do fail in comparison. Happy to come home and still have this deliciousness available!!!❤️

The meats are marinated in real historical traditional style, And served generously with traditional side ingredients. Try the hungry man special with cabbage instead of lettuce, my favorite.
