Traveling from Prescott to the bay area my wife and I found this place. The food was amazing. The right combination of spices. I had never had ox tail so he gave me a taste. The service was top notch. Definitely a stop from now on when traveling through Barstow. Price was very reasonable.

My wife and i found this place by accident,so we gave it a try. and the staff was very freindly, the food was excellent,those beef ribs where the rest i have had in a long time.and we will drive back their again,and we live 30 miles away.

Can we give the food 6 stars? Everything was amazing. The meat was tender and falling off the bone. The BBQ was drool-worthy. Everything was made from scratch with love. The portions were generous, and the owner and staff were lovely. They made us feel at home. Service was quick and you can choose from many selections. We will be routing to the Barstow Tesla charger in the future specifically so we can eat at Southern Twist! p.s. we absolutely recommend trying the baked beans and pulled pork - yum, yumm, yummm!!!

Sean and Desmond atmosphere perfectly captures that classic Southern charm cozy, inviting, and full of character. The food was amazing, especially the fried catfish and the turkey legs. Highly recommend!!!

Pit stop on my way to Fresno. The best food I’ve had in Barstow. I pass through here often and usually grab Carl’s Jr. this is so much better and reasonably priced. The food is Furrs cafeteria style service so it’s fast.

We randomly came across this restaurant and loved the excellent food. The beef ribs were so tender and delicious, as well as the sauce to accompany them. The bbq chicken was equally as tasty. The sides were varied with lots of unique flavors. Would highly recommend!

This food was fricking amazing. They had a nice jazz station playing throughout. Which I love. The 2 guys that there, was cool. The ribs fall off the bone. Omg.. Me and Hisband agreed to make this a date at least twice a month. The price, not tripping on. It was all worth it. They also give u nice portions of the food. Can't wait to go back.
